Problems of Apple Users to Use AirPrint through iOS

AirPrint
The iOS is a new mobile operating system made by Apple Inc. and allocated mainly for Apple’s hardware. It is such an operating system, which controls a number of the iDevices of company. Originally launched in 2007 mainly for the iPhone, it is extended to hold up other Apple devices for example the iPod or iPad.

Introduction of AirPrint-

In one of the current version of the operating system of iOS, Apple has introduced a new item called AirPrint. It is made to bring an innate printing support to the platform of iOS and this can be available on version 4.2 or also in some other devices for example, the iPhone, or the iPad. There are some steps that should be followed to use this AirPrint to any type of printer that is linked to a Windows computer, comprising Windows server. With the help AirPrint, it seems simple to get full quality image and file printing from the iOS as well as OS X applications. AirPrint is prepared into most accepted printer systems. The features comprise easy discovery, mechanical media choice, and enterprise-class options.

Problems of the Users

However, though some users claimed that iOS is quite useful to them, there are some others who reported that this new operating system of Apple has caused a number of troubles in case of AirPrint, a tool that lets the iOS to print over Wi-Fi. The problem does not allow the users to print.

From the various reviews on the page of Apple’s forum, it is known from the customer that whenever they update they update their iPhone or their handsets to the operating system they found an error message, that is, URF error and consequently the printing gets halted. In the opinion of most of the users, AirPrint functions with devices that are running through iOS 7.

An online discussion with a Support representative of Apple did very little to solve the current problems of AirPrint. The Apple agent has stated that AirPrint is supposed to work well, and thus, the users must get in touch with AppleCare or they can arrange a meeting with the Apple Genius if they are facing difficulties with the wireless printing. Though, Apple has not given a satisfactory response to the request, a British-American website for news, on the other hand, quoted a statement on a discussion panel, which denotes that Apple might fix the trouble with its approaching version of iOS 8.1

However, there could be a hopeful side in this context. On one of discussion forum about Apple , it is said that the company is already aware of the faults and announced that iOS 8.1 will faults very soon.

There are also some other complaints that a number of printers, yet listed under the list of some popular models of Apple are no longer well suited with the Airprint when they update iOS 8. Some other users reported that the printer itself perhaps needs some modifications of the firmware to work properly with iOS 8.

Apple Glass Maker Makes Deal To Exit The Arizona Plant

GT
According to the reports published by New Hampshire-based GT Advanced Technologies, Merrimack on 23rd Oct 2014, the company is looking forward to invest and sell furnaces and want to exit from their glass-making business. On 6th Oct, GTAT had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization. According to the company they will be using the proceedings to refund $439 million Apple advanced GT to equip the Mesa, Arizona, plant. Currently this agreement needs approval from the bankruptcy court judge.

According to the recent reports, nearly 20000 furnaces are expected to be removed from an Arizona factory which were installed for making synthetic sapphire glass for Apple company. These furnaces will be sold under a deal that has been made between the company and the tech giant.

The company is currently preparing for producing large amounts of products that will be used in various Apple products. Currently Cupertino-based Apple has retained the rights to purchase the furnaces.

Last November, Apple company had announced that they will be purchasing a vacant 1.3 million-square-foot plant and will be contracting GT technologies for operation as well as making the glass which is currently being used on their iPhones camera lenses, and also on the home buttons.

With speculations surrounding the iPads and iPhone screens, the company was still unsure about the use of the massive source of the glass. On the other hand, GT technologies encountered issues to get the plant running successfully and Apple company has to release their latest iPhone 6 with their standard glass screen this September.

Apple is currently in the process of laying off nearly 124 employees of this plant which is expected to be completely closed by the end of 2014. They are also looking towards closing another small plant in Salem, Massachusetts.

Apple was quite surprised by the bankruptcy filing from GTAT. Apple released an official report on 23rd Oct 2014 stating that they have put forth a lot of energy and efforts towards their grand new sapphire manufacturing process along with GT Advanced Technologies but they are currently not ready for any production.

The company is planning to continue assessing the GTAT's progress pertaining to huge sapphire boule development and might consider other options for their facility. According to reports, Apple is quite concerned about the employees that will be laid off and hence they are looking to get new jobs for the GT employees and also want to remain committed towards Mesa city.

Initially, GT technologies were using the furnaces for making huge amounts of synthetic sapphire which was in turn used for making various components, but now they are concentrating to focusing on making the equipments that are used in the sapphire making process.

According to the Governor of Arizona, they are very happy with Apple’s decision to start a new plant in the City of Mesa as it indicates the efforts of Arizona is paying towards providing a pro-business climate. The state has been offering various incentives to Apple in the form of their existing facilities which was meant for manufacturing of Solar panel.

Apple SIM – The Cupertino Giant is Ahead of the Pack! Yet again!

iPad
Apple has just recently announced what everybody was waiting for – new iPhones and iPads along with a refresh of their MacBook and MacPro lineup. While they do bring in the expected bump in hardware and new version of IOS, the one factor that truly is innovative is the Apple SIM for iPad.

Cellular iPads were available for contract from various service providers up till now. But with Apple SIM, Apple aims to free their customers from the hands of the carriers. Without getting too technical, it is an embedded SIM that is not fixed for any carrier and you can switch carriers according to your likings.

All about Apple SIM

The traditional way of carrier subsidy on otherwise expensive Apple devices works as follows – You buy the device at a hugely subsidized rate but in turn commit to a 1 or 2 year contract for any carrier with a fixed voice and data plan. Thus until your plan expires, switching carriers is not possible without changing the device all together.

However, Apple aims to change this and in a good way. It is following an embedded SIM approach – where in your SIM is independent of any carrier.

You can switch carrier if you don’t like your present one or due to other reason without getting a new device or swapping the SIM – the same SIM works for any network. The specification for such an approach to SIM existed before but Apple is the first to bring it to the market.

What it means to Apple?

As always, Apple with embedded SIM as set itself apart from the competition. Firstly, Apple is able to show its might over other OEMs – only Apple has the power to convince the biggest carriers from US like AT&T, Sprint, T Mobile and EE in the UK to allow such switching of SIM without actually doing it.

Further, by releasing it only for tablets, it is bound to meet certain amount of success. iPhone users traditionally use data plans anyway but tablet PC users tend to avoid cellular data connection all together. Thus rather than being harmful for the carriers, it represents a better opportunity to promote data plans to customers. Thus, it is a win-win situation for both.

The Future

Apple SIM is not free from its fair share of problems. First and foremost, for smartphones carriers will vehemently oppose it as it involves no contract and users can switch carriers at any point. Secondly, making a single SIM work with 20 different LTE bands across the worlds and bringing all carriers to support it will not be easy.

The software and hardware support is going to have to improve if Apple wants to see larger support for embedded SIM. With this release, Apple not only shows its innovation but also its power. Further, such embedded SIM technology can be utilized to control large-scale distributed devices as well over data networks. Expect a wider rollout of this feature from Apple in near future.

The Death of Rogue Applications in the Latest iOS 8.1

date trick
Change is the only thing constant. That proverbial phrase is true in all its senses. Recently, there has been a change made by Apple in the latest version of iOS 8. This upgrade has proved to be a hindrance which can’t be overcome by the so-called 'rogue' applications.

What are the “Rogue Apps”?

The rogue applications are nothing indecent, But applications which has been installed by tweaking with the operating system. The "date trick" allows the installation of unapproved applications, which can be done by manually altering the date to one in past and then download the particular application with the Safari's mobile browser. This procedure permitted various retro gamers to install games without worrying about the copyrights and enjoy playing their favorite games even in their iPhone.

Super Mario

This video game had been developed and published by Nintendo. The man behind this amazing video game is Shigeru Miyamoto. He is the director, designer as well as the producer. This series of Super Mario had been released in the year 1985. It can be played in both single-player mode as well as multiplayer mode, as Mario overcomes all the hindrances in its path. This game has won the hearts of many.

Zelda

Zelda is another video game with similar Japanese origin. Nintendo is one of its developers, as is Shigeru Miyamoto one of its creators. Launched a year after the Super Mario, This game is no less popular by any means. The main focus of this game is on the character Link and his operation to rescue Princess Zelda and Hyrule from the lead antagonist. The latest game of this series of the Legend of Zelda has been released in 2014. In total there are around 17 officially launched games in this series.

Sonic

Sonic the Hedgehog had been created and designed by Naoto Ohshima from 1991 to 1997. This video game character has been features as a cartoon and an anime character. This character had been initially created as a mascot for Mario, but gained immense popularity on its own as well. It’s a blue hedgehog with supersonic speed, can evade obstacles and destroy enemies.

The Hindrance

Apple corrected the small malfunction in the latest beta version of iOS 8.1, which allowed the download of such games and applications, which could be downloaded by the alteration of date and time, and eventually result in unapproved emulators. Now these games invoked nostalgia can no longer be downloaded in the iPhones with the latest version of iOS 8.1.So, you can understand the suitable features that Apple develops along with the positive approaches.

Irrespective of the negative features, the fresh version of technology from Apple represents the optimistic features. It gives the users manifold opportunities that inspire them to obtain the particular product. Make sure that you receive the authenticated stuff accumulating the customized attributes.

Finally, you are able to recognize all the outputs that help you to experience the new innovation from Apple.

Top 5 features of iPhone 6: Is it worth it?

iPhone 6
Pre-launch of iPhone6 was very thought, as the market has sparked discussions among consumers about the amazing features that Apple has for their next generation iPhone. As part of discussion rumors features Apple has a mix package of new, old and ideas depending on the existing generation of iPhones.

i.New iPhone6 on Solar batteries:

An interesting change, considering consumers comfort the pre-launch rumor includes solar power for iPhone 6 which could be charged all through the day. With Solar charging kit already existing in the market, the original rumored idea is a front sapphire display glass in-order to have a solar collector. All Apple needs to do is get their technical and designing team to compact the technology in-order to be set into the body of iPhone.

ii.iPhone with Holographic projections:

The new concept of holographic in iPhone 6 could immensely change everything - crave.
To the disappointment of all the Apple fans the holographic projection was not a part of the feature of the iPhone 6. Though this rumored feature or the holographic display could have hyped up the sale and market for the next generation iPhone, the known fact about Apple is that they are never the first to venture into this until some other company tries it out. For iPhone lovers, this may not be a true feature, and Apple could involve or enhance these features of products like the iPhone 6 or iPhone 7 too.

iii.Camera Features - 10MP & Lens functionality:
Though per ValueWalk there was a rumour that the iPhone 6 will be featured with a swappable lenses, the fact is that the iPhone has always made changes and upgrades to the camera software rather than the lens or the Megapixel. In comparison to Samsung Galaxy in particular S5 series where the rear camera itself is 16MP, the iPhone has always kept to 8MP starting from iPhone 4S right to iPhone 6 Plus. A swappable lens flexibility or functionality would surely be an added attraction for the Apple fans.

iv.Bendgate combat - A Flexible frame for iPhone 6 can be a bonanza:
Apple went through a lot with the "Bendgate" scandal which started when a user n the MacRumors forum indicated that after 18 hours in his pocket he found his iPhone 6 bent over. The reason for this bend over is still to be tested if it’s a user or manufacturing issue. All Apple stores were instructed to replace any defected unit in this respect. Now with this said, if Apple can use flexible sapphire glass and a bendable body just like LG-G flex, this will be a bonanza for both consumers and sales.

v.Water resistance technology:
Despite of the fact that competitor smartphones use IP67 waterproofing technology, Apple has still not implemented this technology in the next generation iPhone. Apple can really gear up the competition if they are able to crack through a technology as waterproofing IP68-rated smartphones, which would be more advanced than the current IP67 to boost both their markets and their consumer expectation.

Value of Apple's Healthkit to Be Tested Through Medical Trials

Healthkit
Apple’s HealthKit can be very effective and useful for the people who have been suffering from chronic diabetes and blood pressure. According to the reports, this HealthKit is expected to be in used medial trials by Stanford and Duke Universities. According to Reuters, the doctors at Stanford University are working along with Apple to let the physician check the blood sugar levels of children suffering from chronic diabetes whereas Duke is currently working on developing a pilot program which will help them to track the blood pressure, weight and other measurements for people suffering from cancer and heart disease.

This program is expected to be rolled out in hospitals in couple of weeks.

About the Medical Trial

Apple has already announced that Stanford and Duke Universities will be using one of the apps of their partner, Epic. This app is called as MyChart App. According to the reports Stanford will be focusing on Children suffering from Type 1 Diabetes for the initial medical trail. They are expecting this trial to be extended and hope to include teenagers as well as infants.

As per the Reuters reports, DexCom, is the equipment which will be used for measuring the glucose levels in Children. These measurements will be then transmitted to the iPod touch devices, which will be sent him along with the children in trial. The data can be easily uploaded into MyChart App and the health care providers will be easily able to access this data through the HealthKit. On the other hand Duke University is looking for automatic data upload to avoid any error done through manual process.

Even though Type 1 diabetes projects accounts for only 5% of the diabetic, it makes up to 40% of the American Diabetes Association's research. Previously known as Juvenile diabetes, this has been usually diagnosed in young adults and children.

Ascertain the role of mobile in healthcare

According to Harry Wang, who is a research director at Parks Associates, Apple is now ready to transform the fragmented, complex healthcare industry to technologically advanced one. As per him the healthcare services and applications will be worth US $30 billion in the next 5 years in USA.

ABI Research has already predicted that in the next 5 years, almost 100 million wearable remote monitoring devices for the patients will be shipped out. The vital part of this opportunity is the fact that the data can be collected from different devices and shared between varieties of parties including patients, insurance company and even healthcare providers.

Industry giants like Apple, Samsung and Google are now more focused towards making a change in this industry. The data can be shared over different devices and having different platform like iOS or even Android.

HealthKit web page and privacy:

According to the reports, nearly 30 million data of the people have been hacked in this year alone. FBI has already informed the healthcare providers that their security and privacy is not equivalent as financial sector and retail sector. Apple has already included the restrictions for developers on their HealthKit Web page.

According to Collin, for Apple privacy and security is supreme in healthcare not only for the people for also according to law.

Aerial Video on Apple’s Spaceship Progress

Spaceship Progress
Privacy advocates debate that drone provides government as well as corporation the ability to spy on the public and though it is true, drones could also be used by the public to snoop on governments and corporations.

It has happened with Apple who is in the process of building a massive new campus expansion in Cupertino, California and is making great progress which has been revealed in aerial shots that have been captured by amateur photographer with the help of DJ1 Phantom 2 Vision+drone sponsored by B&H Photo Video.

The pilot managed to manoeuvre the camera over the construction site to take a video on the happenings of the new Apple headquarters and on what it currently looks like. Apple being very strict about revealing its products refrained from commenting about its circular spaceship like headquarters being built on Tantau Avenue which is blocked from the eye of the public by high walls, preventing even passers-by from getting street level pictures of the construction.

The aerial shots which were taken by KCBS reporter Ron Cervi in April, has not portrayed much with the exception of crop circles, but the new eight minute video posted on Aug 24’14 showed great process in high definition on the creation of a donut shaped furrow in the ground where the four story circular office building of Apple would be housing more than 13,000 employees.

Apple Campus 2 – Last Major Project of Steve Jobs

The video has also provided a better view of the new massive Apple campus to the viewers and once completed the ring will be providing over 2.8 million square foot of space at its headquarters, a giant spaceship version of Apple’s stores which seems to be much bigger than the Empire State Building that was once the tallest building in the world as well as the Pentagon.

It is also much larger than a U.S. Navy Blimp, a battleship from World War II as well as a super tanker. In the video, the B&H drone has captured the northwest corner of the construction site, flying over the ring foundation and on turning around portrays the concrete plant inside the green perimeter fence which circles the site.

Apple Campus 2 is one of the last major project which was headed by Steve Jobs, visionary and founder of Apple before he had succumbed to cancer in 2011, who had taken help from the legendary architect Norman Foster whose renowned projects included restoring the historical Reichstag in Berlin and construction of the bullet shaped Gherkin in London, to help in building according to Jobs future vision, `one of the best office building in the world’.

Campus Completion - 2016

The campus is expected to get completed in 2016 and will have vast gardens transplanted with fruit trees hanging over bike paths, glass gazebo which would be leading to an underground theatre for the purpose of press events, a state of the art gym together with a 90,000 square foot cafeteria.

Moreover the campus would also be housing a building on the southern edge for research and development. However in the meanwhile, Apple will have to manage with the overgrown Infinity Loop headquarters with the engineers’ team placed at various locations in Cupertino till they move into their new spaceship home on completion.

Apple Planning 12.9-Inch iPad for 2015

Apple is now planning to promote and launch it’s much whispered 12.9-inch iPad in initials of 2015 as reports received from Bloomberg. Intimations of the tablet, which has been labeled as the "iPad Pro" in gossips and rumors was firstly made available i.e. it appeared around mid-2013, with a forthcoming 2014 launch date. Latest gossips and rumors suggested that targets and plans for the tablet had been put on halt.

The new iPad is expected to have a screen measuring approximately 12.9 inches crossways, as said by the members, who specially asked not to be getting identified publicly because the details aren't open yet. Apple is currently producing iPads with range varying between 9.7-inch and 7.9-inch displays. The Cupertino, California-based Corporation has been working with providers for at least a year to create and develop a new wide range of bigger and larger touch-screen devices as said by them.

Conferring to buzzes, the bigger 12.9-inch iPad will comprise a high pixel density with a display that approaches ultrahigh definition feature. It will most probably implement many of the design fundamentals that are offered in the existing iPad Air and iPad mini like an ultrathin framework and slender side bezels.

Bloomberg recommends that the bigger tablet is a power to wobble up the iPad streak as deals of the iPad have been on the deterioration situation for the previous two quarters. The bigger tablets may demand profoundly to businesses, a marketplace that Apple is also targeting for with its latest IBM enterprise.

Along with a bigger iPad Pro Apple is also occupied working on a second-generation iPad Air and Retina iPad mini both of which are likely to comprise highly advanced processors and provision for the Touch ID fingerprint sensor application. Even this concept of apple is amazing and high tech driven.

So let’s hope that both of these products will be launched soon in the market. But the main criteria is budget because now there are many brands which provide awesome features and that too in very low and cheap price with good quality but no doubt the apple market has never been affected by any brands because it’s quality and features are far ahead from any other brands. The user interfaces of apple products are considered to be the best of all. So no doubt people buy it without even giving it a second thought.

So these are some latest gossips about the 12.9 inch iPad which apple is planning to launch in the start of 2015. The protocols and features have been set into action although it is known that the work is on hold for some time but we never know that what apple is planning inside so let’s get prepare for the surprise.

Hope apple will launch its new product soon and no doubt the competition will reach the peak if it will be success. So that’s all about the tech gossips and If you have any other news related to this topic then please share it with everyone by commenting below.

Stay fit with the Google vs. Apple rivalry

Stay fit
Rivalry – a word often associated with duels, fights and has no remote connection to “staying fit”; in this case however could make you more fit. As wide spread urbanization is evident with increasing job schedules and busy timelines, our body is becoming lethargic and prone to diseases never seen before. Thus, there is a spurt of general awareness about keeping oneself fit and running.

Technology in inherent in modern life and exists in every sphere – fitness is no exception. Thus, the demands for fitness gadgets and such apps on smartphones are on the rise. The fact that Google and Apple are the two titans of the smartphone race along with forays in other gadgets, it is no surprise that both are up with corresponding tools to help developers and customers in this fitness race.

Google Fit vs. Apple Health Kit

Apple’s health kit is basically a SDK (Software Development Kit) which is already available to the developers on iOS8. Along with a dedicated dashboard to track your fitness data, the SDK comes with access to the health data for developers as well as user permissions. Thus, your fitness data could be handed over to a fitness app that relays it back to your doctor for a real-time monitoring of your conditions. Google’s Fit is basically the same package just built for Android and integrated with Google’s services. The SDK for developers is available by a developer preview version of Google’s upcoming Android L this fall.

Taking Sides

As with choices, people are bound to take sides. While Android leads in market share worldwide, Apple reaps in the most profits – which tells you a lot about customer behavior in respective platforms. Thus choosing one over other will boil down to the fact that which one you prefer or which eco-system you are tied onto. Further, both have lines up numerous companies to support these SDK and develop augmenting hardware and software. While Apple has paired up with many clinics to analyze and send personal recommendations to your information collected, Google has partnered with Hardware manufacturing units (as it is primarily a software vendor), which form the likes of Motorola, Asus, Adidas, Intel, Nike, Runtastic and RunKeeper.

The Future of Staying Fit

As we embrace technology more, it creates wonderful opportunity to help with your daily lives. With improving medical diagnostics, electronic device miniaturization and improved sensors, tracking your blood glucose levels or your pulse rate is becoming ever easy. This is probably a start in perhaps a long run of more sophisticated and advanced fitness regime coupled with equally advanced hardware and software to help you in those. Thus your gadget – smartphone/tablet/ultra-book might be your savior one day.

The future looks bright for technology augmented fitness gadgets. Moreover,Apple and Google both realize this and have promptly released their Health-based SDKs to developers and will soon release features for consumers on their various OS/devices. With an ever-increasing demand in fitness gadgets and more adoption of such technology, the future is surely spicing up as the giants lock horns to bring new tools enabling developers tap the potential.

Apple VS Samsung: An End of the Never Ending War

Apple VS Samsung
The never resolving issue between the Smartphone giants Apple Inc. and Samsung electronics comes to a final closurewhere both the companies decide to give a rest to all the charges against each other in the countries outside US. What seemed to be a far-fetched idea that these litigations will continue was resolved much quicker that it was anticipated. This will bring peace in the economy of the countries like Australia, France, Japan, Italy, South Korea, Netherlands and United Kingdom.

Issues leading to the Dispute:

The beginning of the economic dispute was started back in 2011 between the millionaire companies Apple Inc. and Samsung, when both the companies started accusing and backstabbing each other for their technologies being used. There might be various reasons behind it, but the major premonitions were the copying of each other’s technologies without permission. Apple blamed Samsung for the use of their iPhone design while Samsung blamed Apple for using their wireless-transmission technology and the camera’s system design.

The dispute intensified to a global scale when Apple blamed Samsung – the Korean electronics giants have copied certain features, thereby producing damage for them worth estimated to be $1 billion.
Apple Inc. and Samsung are holding the flags of the Smartphone market and they have tried to block each other’s sales in different countries in the past years, an unfair mean to gain popularity, and trying to be the dominated leader in the revolutionized electronics market.

The Rise and Downfall of Economy of the Giants:

Both the giants Apple and Samsung in order to glorify the dispute have drained millions of dollars to raise a battalion of lawyers to commence the proceedings of the cases. This has caused a huge economic shortfall in the countries like UK, Netherlands, and France etc. where the disputes have been put to an end.

Sparks started in the federal court in San Jose, California where Apple won victories in two verdicts worth $930 million in 2012 and $120 million in 2014.However, the last trial was embarrassing for Apple since they received far less than they expected.

Economists and Lawyers find the situation deeply intriguing. Law professor of Villanova University, Pennsylvania Michael Risch considers the situation to be just a precursor of the commencement of the next skirmish. He considers that the end of litigations is just a pause of the law battles.

Business Breakdown of the Giants:

Samsung targeted for the economically backward countries so as to gain maximum profit of their inputs. Samsung shipped 74.5 million smartphones in the 2nd quarter of the previous year thereby claiming 25% of the market share. Apple however shipped only 35.2 million smartphones thus claimed only 12% of the market shares. This huge setback for Apple made it furious enough to sue a charge against Samsung.

However, both the firms have dropped their charges against each other in May 2014 to stop the patent-infringement dispute. But they didn’t agree to cross-license each other’s patent. Rockstar Consortium backed Apple while Google, HTC, Morotola backed Samsung in the case of infringement of Android-related patent products.

The final verdict was passed on 6th August 2014 and both the Smartphone giants Apple Inc. and Samsung close their dispute outside USA.

One OS to Rule them all – Apple’s New Mantra

Ever since the arrival of computing in consumer space, companies have focused to create a coherent and easy-to-use experience for their customers. Moreover, this is especially true for companies with vertical integration like Apple, which manufactures its devices along with providing the required services. This creates a coherent environment and helps to tie the customer to the Apple ecosystem. However to truly achieve this, they need to start with the core service integration – the OS.

The Present Situation:

Right now, Apple sells iPhones and iPads like hot-cakes with their own venerable and simple iOS as the primary operating system. It is fairly capable and has the largest third-party app ecosystem, the AppStore, which arguably has the most quality-oriented apps and games. Thus, once you own an iPhone and want a tablet, your natural choice would be an iPad since you get the strong ecosystem and your subscriptions carry over as well as iCloud and iTunes.

However, the problem lies in the fact that the same ecosystem does not power Apple’s more serious devices – the MacBook Air/Pro and MacPro units. What it lacks is a quality ecosystem and the enviable integration with its mobile counterparts. In addition, Microsoft is slowly trying to merge Windows 8 and Windows Phone into one, in order to gain market, same with Google – Android and Chromebooks.

The Possibilities:

Think about what a single united OS with at-par functionality can do. You were playing your favorite game on your MacBook Air and now suddenly need to go out and it’s a 2 hour commute. So you may pause your game, pick up your phone and continue where you left off. Likewise, with music or videos. Not to mention, you could buy an app and enjoy the same on all your iGadgets. Thus, customers getting an Apple device are locked to the ecosystem and hence it makes sure their future gadgets will be from the Cupertino giant. Apple are already targeting some of it with their hand-off mechanism and unified notifications between iOS and OS X but it still has a long way to go.

How to go about it?

Uniting two different paradigms of computing – one for the on-the-go and casual users and other for more serious work – can prove to be a challenge as Microsoft with their Metro design language is finding out. The first problem is that laptops and desktops are traditional non-touch devices with mouse and keyboards and hence demand a different UI paradigm than smartphones or tablets. So applications and games universal to both will have to account for that and hence there has to be a coherent API and tools to provide for that. They will also have to address different architectures – x86 vs. ARM, which can be mitigated if they can produce x86 capable ARM to have it everywhere.

It seems like the future is bright for Apple with a unified OS and ecosystem and even more coherent experience. Granted it may take time but consumers will flock for the foreseeable future if they pull it off.

Apple Technology has been enhancing its products making great changes in the lives of consumer. `Mobile Money’, is the most convenient option for customers, to maintain `stored valuable as well asan electronic account that can be accessible from their mobile phone, which can be utilised for various purposes of financial transactions.

Mobile Money is one of the highly effective systems of securing electronic transactions in developed as well as developing markets and in present times we find more individuals with mobile phones than a bank account. Mobile money has been connecting service providers and users in turning their mobile phone into an electronic financial account wherein there are users from all walks of life.

The rise of mobile money accounts for deposit and payment facilities are centred on a mobile phone which can be operated with ease and comfort combined with precautionary measures which need to be adhered to by the user.

As per statistic which have been compiled by Leo Mirani of Quartz, he indicates that a major section of the overall world’s population have a collective inclination to move beyond the traditional transaction method to mobile money services which seems to be a better option that is convenient and quick.

Touch ID – Next Generation iPhone

iPhone customers generally come from wealthy background and have been relying on electronic payment by way of credit cards and web payment services though these processes are comparatively insecure making this system of payment ecosystem prone to being insecure.

Tim Cook, Apple Chief Executive during one of the company’s quarterly results conference call in January this year, had announced that his company would be interested in this issue informing reporters that` the mobile payment area in general is what they are intrigued with and that it was one of the thoughts behind their Touch ID’.

Many are of the belief that Apple’s entry in this field would come at the beginning of fall with the so called next generation iPhone 6, which has been reported to comprise of near field communication, short range wireless data transfer stand powering almost every modern contactless payment system which has shown a few useful cases outside the arena.

This system could also enhance the popularity of Apple as the most sought after mobile money account provider in the world. Apple has been selling over 30 million iPhone every quarterly where almost every individual buying iPhone ties it to a credit card backed iTunes account.

Handset Based Payment

Besides short term gains, it would also be leading to long term growth while individuals in developing countries who have been accustomed to handset based payments tend to grow more prosperous and would be looking forward to more advanced devices like an iPay’, system which would be a far advanced option from rivals like Window Phone and Android.

If Apple is successful in driving the adoption of iTunes backed mobile payment system among its rich consumers, while at the same pace as a similar system in the developing countries, it could be one of the most profitable and important strategic headway of the company as the iPhone becomes the next iWallet for consumers making it a convenient option for financial transaction. Apple drops Aperture and iPhoto

Aperture and iPhoto
Apple has just announced that it was abandoning the development of Aperture the photo management software. It is software for photographers and iPhoto which can be used by the general public.

Many people were waiting for Aperture X for many years. Rumors are that the Cupertino Company is working on a new version of its software for photographers. It was also believed that it would occur shortly after the release of the Mac Pro.

However, the professional application of Apple - unlike Final Cut Pro X - has never been revised to exploit the potential of new workstations from Apple. With the latest version - 3.5.1, Aperture is still available on the Mac App Store at a price of € 69.99.

Instead, Apple will offer a brand new software that will be available next year, suitable application for iOS 8 (which it will download in the fall). It will be obviously optimized for OS X and in the meantime, of course still possible to use Aperture and / or iPhoto on your Mac.

Aperture had attracted many professionals at a time; many of them had ended up opting out for competitor software, including Lightroom. The main complaint about Aperture is that the pace of updates too slow.

Along with this announcement, Apple has reassured its professional customers that Final Cut Pro X and Logic Pro will continue to evolve. Its main advantage is that is its integration with iCloud. This application will see all photos stored in the cloud.

It incorporates the concepts of iPhoto while drawing operation photos for iOS. This application will require OS X Yosemite to work. Craig Federighi showed that the application would have a good number of tools to rework its images in real time. Photos will probably have no trouble to go further iPhoto.

Android overtakes iPad in tablet race

The ipad is the one of the best selling product of Apple Inc; it takes the people in a new dimension and let them to know various types of information through their iPad. iPad received a big check to its dominance. It takes over its presence all over the world; until the release of android tablets, Apple iPad plays a dominant role in market. But android is becoming a popular open source operating software which can be used in both tablets and mobile phone. Release of android tablets by several top leading manufactures has boosts the sales of android tablets in this market which affects the sales of the iPad.

The survey report from the ABI research states that during the second quarter of 2013, the android tablets have overtaken the iPad in volumes. The amount of the total android tablets sold is more than that of the iPad. But the revenue from the android tablets was shared by the various manufacturers; the Apple has taken its whole share of the money. It’s true that no single android tablet manufacturers has comes close to the Apple while compared to the volume of product sold.

As per result of the survey, the android tablets have taken the place by selling devices of different manufacturers. As a whole, the android tablets has sold more than the Apple; but the products are in the combinations of various manufacturers such as Samsung, Asus, Sony, Amazon and more. The Apple has only two products out for the customers. The iPad mini and full-sized iPad are available still in the market. The android has slightly takes the count but it has to be split into many different ways according to the manufacturers.

When compared to the profit, apple has spent more money in promoting their products through various advertisement programs. In 2013, the apple has heavily promoted its product and most of the products which were sold in the quarters of 2013 are only iPad Mini. This has reduced down the amount of the income for the Apple. But android has taken a lead in different meaningful way; the amount of profit per product has comparatively high while compared to iPad. The rumor mill has stated that the apple has its own plan for boost up the sales of its product to regain its first place.

Apple announces 'Touch ID' for iPhone 5S

The emergence of a fingerprint reader allows the new Apple Smartphone to improve its security. This is the main and almost the only real innovation of the iPhone 5s by adding a fingerprint reader, which is quietly inserted into the new Home button on the device. “Touch ID” which will unlock your Smartphone by simply waving your thumb to the button without pressing. The user can also validate his purchases on the App Store and iTunes but not elsewhere, since this iPhone does not support NFC. It is also an additional protection against theft or false manipulations. But it is the business that is referred to this component. We know employees use more and more of their personal devices for work tasks, connect to their corporate network, this is the BYOD (bring your own device) trend. The iPhone is obviously well placed in this field, but IT managers who need to manage this new type of fleets sometimes regret the lack of security of the terminal, especially when faced with competing solutions.

With Touch ID, Apple clearly meets this requirement of securing BYOD with a powerful biometric solution that could bury those pesky passwords. Powerful because Apple says the A7 chip in the terminal, a 64- bit processor, is especially dedicated to the management and the strength of the encryption. The iPhone can also now boast of offering two-factor authentication. The most riding on the security companies can indeed impose fingerprint reading AND a password to unlock the device. So the apple climbs its upscale terminal to a new level of security and intends to strengthen its presence in business when BlackBerry is sinking. As for Android, it does not really favor with CIOs.

It is also necessary that its technology is really developed. Biometrics is a technology and Touch -sensitive ID must demonstrate its reliability in a professional sense. According to the first taken in hand, the Touch ID configuration takes only 30 seconds. The function will also demonstrate its robustness against attacks. Because these technologies are fragile; it will be recalled that the facial recognition of Android 4.0 was diverted in two shots ladle. Again, with the help of the chip, Apple promises a maximum shielding. The issue of databases generated by Touch ID also raises questions. Where and how these data will be stored? Apple ensures that they will not be stored in the cloud.

Apple Airport Express

Apple Airport Express offers Wi-Fi and AirPlay at an affordable price. For many users, the Airport Express base station is a simple solution for wireless surfing and streaming on your home network. The Big Apple stores in the United States have fewer Airport Express copies in stock. Also, the retail chain Best Buy is no longer able to deliver, according to Apple Insider news. In both cases, customers put off by pointing to a delayed order. The online store of Apple, meanwhile, still shows a delivery time of 24 hours. Usually an increasing scarcity of a particular item indicates the end of each model. Since Apple has not revised the current version of the small wireless station for over a year, is actually expected to happen soon. As a fresh function including support for the new 802.11ac standard is feasible, since Apple already supports this with the current series of the MacBook Air and the Great Airport Extreme wireless station has been upgraded accordingly. According to Apple, data rates of up to 1.3 gigabits per second are possible thanks to the faster transmission.
