Sony Vaio Pro 11

The Sony Vaio Pro 11 notebook with Intel's Haswell CPU has many good features. Nearly 4 years after the Vaio X, a lightweight netbook with Atom processor lame, Sony has now introduced the Vaio Ultra Pro 11, which is a book that is similar to light and compact as the old netbook. The difference is Vaio Pro 11 is one of the Ultrabooks. It own faster Haswell processor in the housing with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD holds. The whole thing packs into a Sony only 866 grams and 18.5 mm thin lightweight Ultrabook casing with an 11.6-inch display with full HD. Unfortunately, the display reflects strong but with touch controlled touch with your ten fingers. With the high resolution, the meeting of the controls on the desktop, however, is very difficult. It is recommended to adjust the DPI settings. The Windows 8 gestures are supported on the touchpad. The user can switch between applications so also here. However, this leads to frequent malfunctions. Who attaches at the edge of a mouse movement and wants to move the mouse triggers the gesture, but not a mouse. Sony Vaio Pro offers pleasant additional functions that are not obvious in light notebooks. The keyboard is illuminated, for example, and on the bottom is a connector for a spare battery available. Without the additional battery power is sufficient for light work for about 6-7 hours scarce. Under high load, this reduces to 2 hours. A docking station does not support the Sony Vaio Pro. The SDXC card slot is not immediately visible. Sony has incorporated it under the touchpad. Since early 2013, Sony is the only manufacturer to equip nearly all classes of devices with NFC. Also the Vaio Pro has the interface. This makes many things possible, for example, a comfortable Bluetooth speaker pair by this kind is held to the touchpad. With USB 3.0, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, the notebook is also equipped with modern facilities. Even our low energy mouse we were able to run without the dongle.

Business users may miss but a native VGA connector for presentations. An adapter is provided. The network jack is missing in the Vaio Pro also. Again, help from an adapter. This acts as a wireless router. The router configures itself automatically even on request. On-the-go use, the router even offers multiple SSIDs. For general use the Vaio Pro is fast enough. The SSD in the new m.2 format is pretty lame when writing. Who has a fast USB 3.0 flash drive, have to wait for the SSD with larger data transfers. With its low weight and modern equipment to Sony Vaio 11 Pro is very good for users in transit. The router is a clever idea. Actually, we only miss a cellular modem and the reflective touch screen does not match the claim of a notebook for professionals. The case is actually very well made too flexible in some places. The user can press around the touchpad buttons from below. Sony also installed a very old version of Java with numerous dangerous security vulnerabilities. The drivers are also not as stable as we would wish it. If you invest a bit of work, despite the weaknesses get a good notebook that weighs only a little more than a tablet with keyboard.

Sony Cybershot HX 50 with Wi-Fi and High Zoom!

The Sony Cybershot HX50 wants to bridge cameras redundant. The compact camera has a lens with large focal length range and 30x zoom. Wi-Fi helps in transferring the images. Yes the Sony Cybershot HX50 has a lens with a 30x zoom. Previously you had to use for such a focal length in large, unwieldy bridge cameras. Converted into small format it reaches to 24-720 millimeters. At these high values, an optical image stabilizer is mandatory, since the focal lengths can be photographed from the hand hardly quiet. At 720 millimeters a small movement of the hand the picture can spoil completely. Hence Sony equips the Cybershot HX50 loaded with a CMOS image sensor of which has a resolution of 20.4 megapixels. And this typical compact camera also takes videos in full HD resolution. Transmits its images via wireless the camera to other devices such as Smartphones or laptops and also sets them on-line services. New Share Button On Sony PS4

With the Share button on the Sony PS4 game controllers breaks new ground. In this case the invention was a quick shot. Thanks Share Button Share gamer moments of the game by pressing a button with friends. The Share button is one of the biggest innovations of the Playstation 4 controller. It owes its origin, according to a media report the idea of Sony Santa Monica developer Nathan Gary. They proposed the idea during a meeting before - and landed a direct hit. After they had agreed on the hardware of the PS4, They spent months planning the social functions of the console. When Gary then proposed to build in an extra button to connect to social networks, everyone was thrilled. According to Yoshida, you got the idea act directly implemented into practice. This is the next evolution of the Playstation gamepads: the DualShock controller 4. On the front there is a touchpad, as you know from laptops.

With the Share button upload video games up to the Internet. Even live broadcasts, which are engaged by your friends should be possible via the Share button and streaming. Admittedly, it is not necessarily a flood of information unleashed on the official Sony Playstation website. But at least the manufacturer since the unveiling in February for the first time provides new details on the PS4. So it is possible in the future to test every game in the Playstation Store previously via Gaikai free. A special demo is no longer necessary. The free sample go through streaming and download without waiting vonstatten and let yourself start out from the online store. As a further decision support on-screen videos are from friends who have already bought the game. According to Sony when needed easily via a pressure on the share button to allow your friends to follow your game live in the stream. Increases someone on your invitation, he may - with the prior permission - take over a join button control in your game, give advice or rich helpful items such as health packs. He does not play this same game on his console in parallel. Sony is targeting to make any PS4 game via Remote Play on PS Vita. Considering the fact that this works with the PS3 only in a few selected titles, enormous progress. Via smartphone and tablet wants to follow in the footsteps of social networks and keep gamers via app permanently game-related events with friends up to date Sony. How to record successes and outstanding achievements of colleagues automatically documented with a video or a screenshot and displayed on your "Wall". Despite official presentation of the PS4 is a myth. Specific details for the Sony console iron reserves for itself. Also, in a recent interview with a magazine Sony vice-president Michael Denny differs skillfully with all questions relating to general answers.

Only when it comes to selling price can be drawn from his remarks vague conclusions. So Denny makes it clear that they wanted to appeal to the widest range of players and we've learned from the difficult start of the PS3. He could not name a specific price, but his words could already draw a conclusion. Accordingly, Sony aims to achieve a favorable selling price, in which players have the opportunity strike. It would have to come into direct competition for the Wii U, which already has with their price 350-399 Euro struggle to find buyers. Since the PS4 with its multimedia capabilities has a significant value on board, a price around 400 Euros seems realistic and appealing to all audiences. According to the report of which you may have in the future more than ever, because Sony increases the current limit of 100 friends. Your account, as suggested in advance, subject only to a player, not to the console. Optionally, you link your playstation with your Facebook account, but are then probably forced to use your real name in the Playstation Network. The spectator mode is apparently firmly integrated into the Playstation 4, so that game developers do not need to install it separately in each title.

A pressure on the Share button starts the mode. While friends watch you when you play, you send a long press on the Share button in the comments and take screenshots. Also streaming of games on the PS Vita is apparently an integral part of the PS4 hardware. This probably means that you can transfer any game on the handheld. To see the game at the same time on the TV screen and the display of the Vita. Since the Vita has fewer shoulder buttons than a normal controller, Sony automatically sets the appropriate functions to other keys. Developers to edit the assignment if necessary. The action buttons on the new DualShock controller are not as similar to previous models, but digital - game developers have made little use of the opportunities of the pressure sensitive buttons. The light bar on the gamepad lights according to the report available in blue, green, red, pink, marking the Player. The innovative touch pad control unit has a resolution of 1920x900 pixels and is thus able to register very fine movements. Sony revealed that connecting the new Playstation Eye camera via USB, but an in-house format plug to the console. The company introduced an app for iOS and Android, which allows go buy the Playstation Store and download the purchased software directly. Come on home, place so go away.

Sony Tablet Z

Presented in late January in Japan, Tablet Z is one of the main attractions on the Sony stand - you can see why once you've touched. The first sensation is the surprise: this tablet 10.1 "is only 6.9 mm thick and weighing only 495 g. It is very light and very thin, but very strong at the same time. The Tablet Z resistant to twisting and caches ports which provide protection to projections and dust seem reliable.

The screen px 080 1920 x1 is of good quality, though perhaps a little too bright. We find the Bravia 2 processor, which offers rich colors, almost too much. Difficult to be choosy before the level of performance offered by the 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 320 graphics chip. The Xperia Z is full of small functional details: it integrates the following Sony apps and content, it includes a module for infrared remote office and NFC to be connected quickly to a compatible sound system for example.

Note that the 16 or 32 GB of storage can be expanded via microSD card and its 8.1MP Exmor R sensor is not bad at all. The new visual language Sony has done with the quirks of the Tablet S and P in favor of clean, simple lines. The abandonment of rounding means that the Tablet Z is a little less pleasant to handle, but its lightness and matt back and slightly offset gripping. Z Tablet is simple, light, classy, and impressive as the most of the Android Tablet rarely did. The launch date of the Tablet Z is still unknown, but the prices are "similar" to those of competing tablets according to a Sony representative.

Sony PlayStation 4 Gaming Console

Now a days the demand for the gaming consoles are declining the manufactures trying to keep their place in the market in a novel innovative way and Sony is not an exception to it. In their part Sony has unveiled its PlayStation 4. During the forum meet, the Japanese manufacturer Sony has introduced a new joystick that has the distinction of having a touchpad. The controller operates in the form of curves showing the PlayStation Move accessory for motion detection.

The DualShock 4 includes an audio mini-jack, mini speaker and an area light with three different colors helps the console to identify the player via a 3D camera. By this means the PS4 will assess the position of people in the room. This indicator light may also give information to other players with different colors. PlayStation 4 Eye is the answer from Sony Microsoft Kinect, after three years with better specifications. While the Kinect camera has a 640 x 480 px with a field of view of 60 °, the PS4 Eye carries two cameras 1280 x 800 px with a field of view of 80 °, so it can theoretically follow more people with better accuracy.

It also embeds a set of microphones that enable Sony to catch Microsoft in the field of speech recognition, but the next Xbox could go much further and allow Sony to place in this area. Another innovation is the sharing of catch and videos of the game in progress, using a button "Share" on the controller. Other people remotely connected to the PlayStation Network (PSN) will follow your movements, with a comment about their display on your screen. Wifi U also offers the ability to chat with friends during a game session to return to the PlayStation 4, if you allow it, your contacts can also take control of your character. This type of sharing when we are playing will be provided by a dedicated processor. Sharing it is also possible to Facebook and Ustream. To facilitate transfers to other online players, go watch streaming these videos will be compressed in real time. Mode "Director" will provide an opportunity to do some manipulations on these videos. The joystick always key start will pause the game which is currently playing to resume later, just as quickly. This pause is completed by an automatic backup.

Managing downloads will be provided by the chip side, even with the console powered off and we can start a game as long as enough of the content has been downloaded. Among the associated services, there will be a demonstration mode for games and an optional notification to alert you when one of your contacts has purchased a title. An important announcement on the strategy of the second screen to play is offered, While Nintendo provides a standard tablet to its customers, Sony put on the PS Vita to stream games. The portable console whose sales do not take off could benefit from a renewed interest in this feature called remote play. Philippe Cardon, president of Sony Computer France, said that the remote will be available to play for all games end. Sony did not forget the owners of Smartphone and tablets Android and iOS. An application called simply PlayStation App will see elements of a game, for example a map on the second screen. It has an approach similar to Microsoft Xbox, SmartGlass etc.

One can also buy games from your iPhone. These will be automatically downloaded to the console. The PlayStation 4 will carry a SoC with 8 cores 64 AMD x86-Jaguar, a Radeon (1.84 TFLOPS) and 8 GB of GDDR5 RAM. Also included is a hard disk with a storage capacity has not been announced, Blu-Ray, Ethernet and USB 3.0, A / V outputs (HDMI, optical S / PDIF ...), Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth 2.1. Surprise concerning the technical specifications is that Sony abandons the Cell processor, derived from PowerPC to adopt a more traditional x86-64, a choice that could facilitate the development of the console. On graphics solution, if one refers to the number of TFLOPS, it would be a bit more powerful than AMD Radeon HD 7850 graphics card midrange.

It would not, a priori a powerhouse. Sony had excluded costly components in this. One reason for this may be the manufacturer has probably learned the lesson from the launch of the PlayStation 3 to $ 499 or $ 599 in its 60GB, which was a too high a price that was disabled for a while. On the other hand, the PlayStation 4 will ship technology Gaikai, a company purchased by Sony last year specializing in games streaming - like OnLive. Gaikai boss said it will be possible to try any game before you buy thanks to its technology. The service could also be used to run old games Sony the PS4 is not backwards compatible. The interface of the PlayStation has been thoroughly reviewed. The Japanese also gave some information about the titles which are going to be available. They included Killzone, Shadow Fall, inFamous Second Son, Driveclub, Knack, Destiny, Diablo III, Deep Down and Watch_Dogs.

The PlayStation 4 will be released in late 2013. No detail was given on pricing. But the performance of Sony has been to a press conference without presenting the object in question. "Do not show any of a sudden," says the boss of Sony Computer France to justify their absence. If the non-disclosure of the price may be understandable due to competition with Microsoft - it is likely that Sony expects the price of the next Xbox to adjust - the absence of the console, true identity marker, is more than strange. Unless the manufacturer of surprises.
