Gold Plated iPhone 6 Hits the Market as the Pre-Order Starts

iPhone gold
As you may heard of the arrival of world’s greatest phone (at least Apple says so) recently, you will be surprised to hear that with spending a hefty amount, one can have gold-plated iPhone too. Yes, you heard me correct. London based jewellery shop Alexander Amosu is going to sell 24ct. gold plated iPhone 6 if you are ready to shed £2,400. The shop already started taking pre-orders for their gold version of the latest iPhone from Apple Inc.

About the device:

Apple has once again thrashed contenders like Samsung, Microsoft, HTC with their latest iPhone 6 when the Cupertino-based tech giant met the press at their September 9th’s gala event. They released two iPhones, an iWatch and some features like Apple Pay on the same event.

There were huge speculations and leaked images all around the web for last one month. Leaked pictures proved their authenticity when Apple CEO Tim Cook came up with the iPhone 6 picture on the large screen. iPhone 6 has 4.4 inch screen while one more variant iPhone 6 plus has 5.7 inch screen with retina HD display.

It was the biggest launch since last year the company unveiled iPhone 5S. Apple announced the market availability of iPhone 6 from September 19. Apple has changed the outlook of this latest device a bit from tradition iPhone look. iPhone 6 has curved edge, whereas earlier versions had sharp edge.

Is the market ready for the gold version?

Gold Plated iPhone 6
Surprisingly, the jewellery shop announced this gold plated iPhone 6 before the company itself unveiled the device. The advertisement picture shows a gold plated back panel of the device, while they have not made any change to the front part.

According to a spokesperson from the jewellery shop, they are mainly targeting celebrities and business persons to buy this one instead of original Apple version. As any Apple device is enough to show off, a gold plated iPhone 6 will create a buzz for sure.

Added features:

As seen in the advertisement details, the device will have a 24 ct. gold plated back panel. According to the shop’s claim, they will use the same plating technique that Rolex uses on their watches. For an add on, the company says, buyers can also engrave their name or the organization name on the gold plate if wants. Those who will place the pre-order for this device before September 12th, they are going to be gifted Amosu’s leather case worth of £150.

As market experts have advised to place per-order for this device for Apple unveils it, because although there were leaked images of the phone, but there was no guarantee for the design. So it would have been a foolish move to pay something which is only imagined to exist. Since, gold plated iPhone will enable to show it off, it may enhance your status quo among your group.

So, if you can spare a two-thousand bucks, you will probably want to go for it. But be sure to hire a security guard for the device, because if the gold plated iPhone 6 is lost somewhere, probably you will have a heartache.

NASA aiming for establishment of traffic rules for Low-Flying and Commercial Drones

Commercial Drones
NASA is not among the latest companies who got interested in the air traffic control management system. According to the recent files reports, NASA is in search for partners to collaborate and establish a traffic management system for low-flying drones. In the fact sheet containing the proposal on this issue NASA explained that at the moment there are no infrastructure established that can not only enable but also safely manage the extensive usage of low-altitude airspace. Drones and the Small craft which are basically remotely guided and are used by hobbyists along with drones have no knowledge of each other. They might not be able to avoid each other and other things like high winds and power lines etc.

NASA is aiming towards building a system, which will help them in tracking as well as managing the increasing numbers of aircrafts in the air. Even though NASA has been working on a project on the similar lines for more than years, the proposed “Unmanned aerial system Traffic Management” (UTM) is still in its infancy. Currently NASA is planning to work people who have expertise and have contributed towards this idea, which includes aircraft makers, sensors and software developers and aviation experts among others.

Commercial drones

Agency is looking for partners to develop a project for safe commercial usage of drones in United States of America. This multi-year program is an idea towards developing air traffic management for commercial drones. This program is important as the commercial drones used in banned in USA by the Federal Aviation Administration which includes devices like Octocopters, Quadcopters and other remote-controlled aircraft among others.

This means a path has been cleared for people who now legally fly consumer can grade UAS (unmanned aerial system) from various companies ranging from 3D robotics, DJI and Parrot among others. Added to this factor, now Amazon has announced that they will use this device to deliver package.

Airware is among the first partners who are helping the agency in this multi year program. The aim of this device is to ensure a safe management apart from the low altitude use of devices from ground to 500 feet. According to Jesse Kallman, who is the head of Airware's business development and regulatory affairs, the current problem that everyone is facing is that there is no universal system for the ensuring the safety of people on ground apart from those in airplanes and helicopters, as sometimes there are communication issues with drone pilots due to their devices.

Apart from this NASA aims to safe delivery of the pilot at ground. Even though this program it is not expected to launch it for upcoming years, but elements of this work is expected to come out in the market anytime in between.

Linkedin Creates Three Privacy Features to Protect Users Account

Linkedin
As we can see that hacking all around the world has increased to a great extent that too in a professional way. It has become difficult for the users to keep their precious information safe anymore. Recently, the mass celebrity photos were leaked by the hackers, which became the main concern for the people all across the globe as well as the government.

So, LinkedIn which follows the policy of “Members First” have taken a vital step to provide protection to the users account. And as a starting step, LinkedIn has proposed three security tools, in order to provide more control to the users over the vital data associated with their account.

Having more hold on your account is important as you never know who’s having eye on you or using it seating far away from you. Keeping all the factors in mind it has designed three special tools to provide more access to the users to their account. These tools include browsing history, varying password details and transparency of data.

Activity History:-

It is nothing but a tool that helps you know all the devices on which a user is logged into. It helps a user to find out whether someone has gained access to their account without permission or not.
One can perform this task by going to settings and clicking on the option “view the sign in devices”. This will help you to check the devices that have access to your account and you can log out of any device at instant itself just from the same tab itself.

Changing password details:-

This additional feature added by LinkedIn, will inform the users in the form a mail that includes information like date, time, device, browser, operating system, IP address, in case if you change your password or anyone else.

This is a protective tool added, as the hacker can be tracked easily if they try to change the password of your account. This will also provide you with the approximate physical location from where the changes have been made.

Data Transparency

Finally, it added an additional feature that allows its users to transport all of their LinkedIn data to their desired device. This will help the users to monitor each and everything that they have done or not done on LinkedIn, thereby providing them easy access to check whether anyone else has posted or searched something using their account or not.

Users can utilize this feature by going to settings tab and selecting the option “download your data” and the information including updates, activity, IP records and searches will be transferred to the desired place.

Conclusion:-

As there are lots of hackers hunting down people through their accounts, it is advisable to the people to check their settings in order to see if these features are available to them or not. So just make use of these valuable tools and secure yourself from being targeted by these hackers.

Implanted Sensors to Diagnose Glaucoma

Implanted Sensors
Scientists have discovered a way to examine glaucoma by means of a tiny machine implanted in the eye. The analysis from the machine could be checked by a Smartphone. This expertise could assist in preventing some people from becoming blind. They have prepared a low-power sensor, which could be placed everlastingly in an individual’s eye to follow hard-to-measure alterations in eye pressure. This sensor would be implanted with a non-natural lens t the time of cataract surgical procedure and would identify pressure changes right away, then convey the data wirelessly by means of radio frequency waves.

What is Glaucoma?

Glaucoma expresses a number of eye ailments in which there is great harm to the optic nerve. This optic nerve attaches the retina with the brain, and therefore any injury to it causes an individual to defect peripheral vision.

Ability of implanted sensor to detect the disease

The little sensor, just a few millimeters in length, is put in synthetic lens and these are utilized to replace the original lenses that patients with cataracts have. The manner the sensor works is as a tiny barometer. Pressure results the fluid within the sensor to shift. The progress of the fluid can be followed through a Smartphone camera that has a particular optical adapter.

A thin, round antenna covers the perimeter of the machine – approximately tracing a patient’s iris – and controls sufficient energy from the nearby field to regulate a little pressure sensor chip. This chip corresponds with a close-by receiver concerning any shifts in regularity, which indicate an alteration in pressure.

There are some restrictions still. Their perfect results are on the basis of the studies madein animal eyes. Moreover, how much time the appliance may endure is not however clear. If incessant monitoring is required, it should be competent to last for some years. Furthermore, itwill only be appropriate for some types of glaucoma.

One more challenge is that of inserting the mechanism in humans. It is suggested that the tool will take credit on an intraocular lens that is typically implanted in usual cataract surgery. It is a simple process that some patients having glaucoma and also cataract previously undergo.

It has been recommended that, since the lens within the eye plays a key role in the devices leading to one type of glaucoma, then advance lens extraction will prevent glaucoma disease in some sorts of glaucoma. This system is undergoing a test in humans, and could heighten study on implantable sensors.

However, if ophthalmologists could put in a pressure monitoring arrangement in the eye with one artificial lens in cataract surgery – now a general procedure done on 3 million or 4 million public each year to eliminate blurry image or glare resulted by a unclear lens, which could prevent patients from another surgery and basically help their substitution lens “smarter” and also functional. The accomplishment of the monitoring tool has to be well-fitted clinically and should be designed to be easy and consistent. Every doctor who does cataract surgeries should be able to utilize this.
