The Google Nexus 4 is a top class Smartphone at an intermediate rate. Google Nexus 4 is one of the best Smartphone which can do Android updates early and very easily. LG brings the Nexus 4 now available in a white version also in the market. However, only the Smartphone back and sides of the body shine in new splendor, the front remains unchanged, according to the devices pictures available. According to the manufacturer, the white Nexus 4 will be released first in Hong Kong and then to other markets in the coming weeks. A combination of cool metal and anodized surfaces, which you will not want to put down - all this, is the Nexus 4. The front and back are made of scratch-resistant Gorilla glass. Nevertheless, you need a moment to you is warm with the LG-made Nexus 4, but then it also convinces with a high perceived value. The design is edgy, hugs not as good in the hand like a Galaxy S3. But the Nexus 4 is not so unwieldy. The processing of around 140 grams heavy equipment is perfect, surprisingly a flawless rigid casing, the buttons are tightly enclosed. The edges are rough and rubbery, under the gorilla glass on the back depending on the light shines a different pixel array, but discreetly ... It was only there when it is cold, the glass is also tactile recognizable as such. The large screen is a sharp crack IPS display with 1280x768 pixels, provides a pixel density of 319 ppi. The size is slightly below that of the Galaxy S3 (4.8 inches) to 4.7 inches (11.9 centimeters).

If you are looking for criticisms, it could be argued the worse compared to AMOLED black level and a smaller angle. But that does not spoil the joy of the great picture while surfing and games. The laboratory certified high brightness, good contrast, natural colors and little reflection. Only the visibility in bright light is not optimal. The quad-core processor "Snapdragon S4" is clocked at 1.5 GHz. various benchmarks substantiate the impression that you are dealing with a fast computer. In one benchmark, for example, the Nexus is a HTC X forward, the next 4 In any case; the Google phone plays forward with. This fits the lush memory of two gigabytes, so far an exception for Smartphones. The device memory is eight or 16 gigabytes and is not expandable. As operating system "Android 4.2" (Jelly Bean) is installed. Great advantage of the Google Phones: future stand with the Nexus 4 at the front of the long part Android update queue. Prima: A small update after the first start already eliminated the error that already established under the Google Apps account acquired should be bought again. Android 4.2 offers "Gesture Typing", offer the other manufacturers as "Swap" gesture by finger wipe only on the keyboard to enter words. The camera has a resolution of eight megapixels. The laboratory test showed an effective resolution of 4.7 megapixels, the sight test on the monitor ordinary, slightly sharpened images. Flier is not the camera. Full HD videos are now standard. The front camera takes HD video and triggers with 1.3 megapixels. New 'Photo Sphere ", a feature that allows you to create 360-degree panoramic pictures from several individual photographs.

However, the results remained the practice test below expectations. In addition, the system was still not free of errors. The data is transmitted via GSM, UMTS, HSPA +, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. The charging cable, you do not necessarily need the Nexus 4th Instead, you supply the unit with induction of fresh 'juice'. A corresponding space you will need to buy. Alternatively, micro-USB connectors on board that have MHL adapter and HD MOV, MKV & Co. in 1080p on the TV. A status LED below the screen draws attention to received notifications, headphones missing. Although the Nexus 4 does not support the data turbo LTE, the screwdriver from iFixit discovered a LTE chip (Qualcomm WTR1605L) inside - a remnant of the LG Optimus G. The can even be activated by entering a code, but he uses this country nothing. The lack amplifier chip transmits only one band, which is available for example in Canada. The sound quality of the phone is good. The transmission and reception quality is worse than the iPhone 5, but better than some in the Smartphone Galaxy S3 LTE, HTC One XL, and LG True HD. On the Internet the Nexus 4 delivers a great idea: While the browser may not support Flash, but is fast. Apart from the lack of LTE and the data transmission is very fast. HSPA + provides up to 42 megabits per second. The operation hits and no riddles. The average battery life is short (note 3.62), but with eleven hours of typical Smartphone usage cuts the Google Nexus 4 outperformed all competitors mentioned in the preceding paragraph (S3 LTE: ten hours iPhone 5: nine). In total there is for the battery to touch 2.21.

The Nexus 4 comes with an extended version of "Google Now." Now Google gives you information permanently, the content is dependent on your location. In the test table, the naked Android is taking its toll on the equipment. Security features such as remote lock and note function missing. However, all functions can be retrofitted via app.

Yahoo trying to acquire video streaming service Hulu!

After the failure of redemption Dailymotion, now Yahoo! tries to get VOD platform Hulu. In 2006, Yahoo! tried to buy YouTube in vain. It was finally sold for 1.6 billion dollars, a gold price that Google snatched it from the hands of his rival one of the world's video platform. In 2013, shortly after the arrival of Marissa Mayer, the portal returns to the load by trying to acquire 75% of Dailymotion for € 300 million. Once again it was a failure. This time it is the French Govt. who opposed to sell it to the U.S Company. Barely a month later, Yahoo! launched once more try in his eternal quest for video Grail. According to Kara Swisher of AllthingsD, Yahoo! would be willing to make an offer between 600 and 800 million dollars, but it calms the media enthusiasm by saying that it is unlikely that Hulu accepts an offer below to a billion dollars.

It is another failure to Yahoo on the arduous road to the VOD platform? Unlike Dailymotion, Hulu is a VOD platform. The acquisition would be perfectly consistent because Yahoo! (through Yahoo Screen), as well as Hulu have recently redeployed to the production of content. Since 2010, Hulu produced web series and other video content. Yahoo! is itself has started already for example "Electric City," a series produced by Tom Hanks." By the acquisition Hulu could bring a unique expertise to Yahoo! in the field of content monetization, creating obvious synergies with Yahoo screen in countries other than the U.S. or Japan the only regions where Hulu is available. Hulu is a U.S. platform happens best monetize video content. Hulu is a pioneer in advertising. It was Hulu who introduced the "ad selector", which allows users to choose which view advertising before playing the video. ". Hulu has given best Results and reward to this technology. In 2011, Hulu exuded a turnover of $ 420 million to 2 million subscribers in 2012 alone; the turnover has soared to $ 700 million to 4 million subscribers. If the acquisition is consistent with the Yahoo! video, it does not necessarily take place in the most strategic time.

Indeed, the company led by ambitious Marissa Mayer embarked on a frenzied acquisition strategy, acquiring all goes startups that sometimes do not emerge from sales. This is not the ideal time; Yahoo has squandered its $ 1.2 billion cash to buy Tumblr. However, Yahoo! will soon release more reserves. Remember that owns 24% of Alibaba will soon go public and potentially be enhanced up to 100 billion dollars. Finally, all these arguments are highly speculative since Yahoo! is competing with big players like Time Warner Cable, DirecTV, Guggenheim Digital Chernin Group, KKR & Co. and an alliance of Silver Lake Management and William Morris Endeavor Entertainment. Yahoo! believes that Time Warner Cable is the most serious competitor, "Actors like NBC, Walt Disney and News Corp., which currently have Hulu might be afraid to give a pure internet player that could cannibalize in creating a platform the size of Netflix. Indeed, these groups develop their own similar jobs and they might find it reassuring to sell Hulu to a player of their own ecosystem". Then the question of the amount of the offer by Yahoo! obviously come into play is unlikely that Hulu will agree to be settling at an amount lower than the recent acquisitions that took place in Silicon Valley. The acquisition of Tumblr 1.

1 billion may be taken as a standard. However, Yahoo! could still play on Hulu major flaw that is it’s difficult to enter into long-term contracts with rights holders that they commit several years to continuously feed the platform. In 2011, rumors had circulated a potential buyout of Hulu to $ 2 billion by Yahoo!, but it would have changed its mind, Hulu is unable to guarantee the delivery of content over four years. In the event of a failure of the acquisition Yahoo! will refocus on organic growth strategy, including developing Yahoo screen and producing their own video content. Yahoo! has the means to develop original and exclusive offers autonomous and do not depend exclusively on acquisitions.

Gigabyte has unveiled two motherboards in ATX that are equipped with a socket LGA 1150: the Z87X-UD3H and Z87X-UD4H. They are designed to accommodate future processors of Intel more particularly Haswell, which is going to officially release on June 4. Already Intel has divulged many details of its next generation Haswell CPU and recently gave some more information on the different models with integrated graphics. Since the launch date is fast approaching, the brand partners are increasingly pressing for the image of that Gigabyte, hence it has unveiled the details with two of its motherboards photos. The Z87X-UD3H and Z87X UD4H are very close to one another even sinks except the color and the heat pipe of the second. The external connector is the same among them and includes six USB 3.0 ports, two eSATA, Gigabit LAN port, six 3.5mm jacks and a quartet of video outputs: DVI, VGA, HDMI and Display Port. However there are three digital outputs we should appreciate for the same. The rear connection of the two cards is the same. On both cards, so we find a LGA 1150, four slots for DDR3, a PCI slot, three x1 and three PCIe x16 PCIe. A logo on the PCB announces support for NVIDIA SLI in both cases remains to be seen whether this is also the case of the "3-Way SLI." Obviously, a shovelful of S-ATA ports of the game, but some may regret the absence of an mSATA connector. On the PCB we can notice the presence of a digital display to just know the type of fault in the event of a problem, and buttons to start the machine or perform a "Reset" and a "Clear CMOS". In addition, two small switches are part and are expected to move from one to another. No details have been revealed regarding the availability and their prices. However, things should quickly change the since the date is fast approaching and the NDA on the Haswell processors will end on June 4.

The novel concept makes the carpet meant for more fun race. The treadmills are certainly convenient; they have not had a real revolution both in their level design features. Therefore, the designer Yoon Il-Seop imagined a futuristic version of the device used in most gyms. The concept is part of devices called "smart." Called Voyager, it is present in an avant-garde installation and quite cumbersome. In fact, the treadmill has a larger display and an interactive system. By offering a more immersive racing experience, the user is able to move in different places without setting foot outside. Three modes are then proposed: travel, sports and games. The first allows you to venture into the streets of a selected area while the second allows running with other people on the same track. The latter method promises an entertaining experience incorporating the runner in the game through his avatar. Can be synchronized with a Smartphone, it includes a number of programs and settings to adjust according to the difficulty of the training. Unfortunately, traveling is reduced to its concept stage. Nothing has been added more about this project so far.

Microsoft unveiled two of its new mouse

Microsoft has unveiled two new mice. They are the Sculpt Mobile Mouse and Comfort Mouse. The first has the advantage of being ambidextrous and they both have the distinction of having a button to return to the "Start Screen" of Windows 8. They will be available soon in the market. Sculpt Comfort Keyboard launched nearly eight months ago, Microsoft is expanding its range of accessories designed for Windows 8 with the addition of these two mice, namely the Sculpt Mobile Mouse and Comfort Mouse. Both have a "Windows" button to return to the "Start Screen" of Windows 8, or run the "Start" menu of its predecessor. The first is a compact model that will adapt perfectly with a tablet or Ultrabook. It is very light and it weighs only 65 grams for a size of 95.3 x 56.9 x 40.5 mm. It is therefore appropriate for small hands, and to either hand thanks to its ambidextrous design.

It operates with a "Blue Track" Microsoft sensor, and four-wheel axes allows you to navigate horizontally and vertically, which may be particularly useful for users of Windows 8 and "Modern UI" applications that support it. Three buttons are available, one of which lies on the dial. It is wireless and, according to the manufacturer; it can be used up to 5 meters from the sensor via a protocol radio frequency to 2.4 GHz. This mouse requires one "AA" battery to operate and Microsoft indicates a range of up to 11 months life. It is worth mention that it has not have included a rechargeable battery instead.

The side of the Sculpt Comfort Mouse, the design is a little more elegant, and it is best suited for the right hander only because of its shape. The first thing that jumps out on this black field mouse is the blue button on the left side. It can again call quickly "StartScreen" Windows 8 or the "Start" menu in Windows 7. Six buttons are available here.

Side of its size, it is larger than its little sister: 111 x 68.5 x 36.5 mm and weighs 136 grams, which is all very well accurate. It is also wireless model, but here it is against the Bluetooth 3.0 which was chosen by Microsoft to interact with the USB dongle (included in the bundle). This increases the distance between the mouse and the PC, which can range up to 10 meters. Again, the sensor is "Blue Track" which is a little more accurate and faster than its predecessor as well as it can get to 8000 fps, where the other does not go beyond 2400 fps. Sculpt Comfort this time two "AA" batteries for its operation and Microsoft indicates a range of up to 10 months.

Much more precise, the accessory will however not limited to the console alone. The company has indeed confirmed that it would be available for Windows PCs, like the current Kinect. Microsoft has kept no secret with its new Xbox One, which will be available before the end of the year to an unknown price, would necessarily need the Kinect. The new version of the standard accessory with future console will also be much more precise: 30 fps at 1080p, better recognition of the user's movements, recognition of six people in the same room, better voice recognition etc. We remember the story of the first Kinect was glazed by a contest launched by hackers who wanted to use the attachment of conventional computers. The USB drivers have been changed and the operation was successful. Microsoft was not slow to grasp the potential of the situation and to announce that Kinect is finally available for Windows, with a specific SDK to accompany it. Just announced, the "Kinect 2" will be a very special variant for Windows. The news was confirmed to the site Shacknews by Scott Evans, head of the Kinect program. Sony has unveiled its latest prototype tablet with virtual ink technology

Sony has unveiled its latest prototype tablet with virtual ink technology. The Japanese firm will target high school students and students with this workbook a new genre. It is certainly a story that will delight schoolchildren and students who find their heavy bags too! The Japanese company Sony has just unveiled its latest prototype tablet. After successful reading lights, here comes a slate tablet. You heard right, a slate tablet: that is to say that you can write as if it were a blank sheet of paper or a slate with a stylus and especially thanks to the electronic ink technology or paper mail (e-ink in English). This prototype has a screen of 13.3 inches, about the size of A4 paper used by most of the world's population, for a resolution of 1200 x 1600. The touch screen works with electromagnetic induction technology to allow users to click on certain parts of the screen with the stylus when it is needed. This tablet has so far a battery life of several weeks (Wi-Fi off) and has USB ports and SD cards, although currently the only type of file is that it supports the PDF format. Sony also said that many of these tablets should be provided to three Japanese universities by the end of 2013, before a likely global marketing for 2014. After the revolution of e-readers, Sony promises great things with this electronic paper! Relay.com starts to sell e-books and reading online content

Relay.com just indicated that added another string to its bow: the marketing e-books and more magazines. The company has thus competed with Amazon and iTunes for example, but is it interesting to note that the site also boasts a new feature that might interest some: reading your books and magazines online. Relay.com offers to subscribe to various magazines, individually or in the form of subscriptions. This time, the company has directly competitive with Apple, Amazon, Kobo or Google flowerbeds offering buying e-books. They are announcing the availability of more than 75 000 references in several areas like literature, comics, company, personal development, culture, politics, practical life, etc. It is worth mention that free content are also present. Everything takes place in a dedicated section. In its FAQs, the company states that the files can be in e-pub format and / or PDF with or without DRM as appropriate. On each product page, the available formats are specified. For those who are locked, it will have eternal Adobe ID account in order to read them. Regarding the Amazon Kindle, the store said that only files that are available in Pdf DRM and the library is compatible with this reading light. Others sold in other parts of Europe as the Kobo Arc or those Sony. In addition, applications for Android and iOS are planned, but they will take some time to come out. Their offer is quite similar to that of its competitors. No surprise, the four online shops appear much the same amount. The single price of the book is so well respected. This may involve additional features with, for example, reading your content online, or sharing with your friend’s magazines, two options that have just arrived.

HP tablets SlateBook X2 and X2 Split

HP has just lifted the veil on two of its convertible machinery namely the SlateBook X2 and X2 Split. The first is the size of 10.1 inches and embeds a 4 NVIDIA Tegra chip, while the second is Windows 8 and includes a Core processor from Intel. Both should arrive during the summer by its American manufacturer. HP seems to have been attracted by the proposal for its NVIDIA SlateBook. Note that the manufacturer has announced an operating frequency of 1.8 GHz chip. Anyway, it seems SlateBook is pretty good at first glance with its concept of "dockable tablet." Its dimensions are quite exactly 284.48 x 212.09 x 20.32 mm with a total weight of 1.4 kg. This is still relatively high and heavy for a 10.1-inch tablet along with a docking station with a keyboard with separate keys. Anyway, the screen has an IPS Full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels). 2 GB of RAM and 64GB of storage are part and it will be possible to complete it via a microSDHC card reader. Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0 are included, as well as HDMI outputs, a combo jack of 3.5 mm and a USB 2.0 ports. Two picture / video sensors are present: 1080p and 720p rear facade. And Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) will be responsible for driving the beast to its output. For now, HP provides little detail about its potential in terms of additions or overlay applications. The price for this SlateBook X2 will start at $ 479.99 and will be available most probably in August, at least in the United States. The question is whether this price includes only the tablet or together with the docking station. SplitBook, the Transformer Book "made in HP" Windows 8.Let us remind that the SplitBook the ASUS Transformer Book, but in a much more accessible version. Indeed, one can say that HP is really worked hard for this Ultrabook detachable model, except that it is completely covered with "soft touch" material. The screen is a particularly "good" such as one finds an IPS touch screen display ... only 1366 x 768 pixels.

 HP Split X2:

The configuration is based this time on a Core i3 or i5 third generation (Ivy Bridge) along with 2 GB of RAM. Storage side, we have a 128GB SSD while a 500 GB hard drive takes place in the docking station to increase capacity. In terms of connectivity, HDMI output, a USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0, a microSDHC card reader on the tablet, another SDHC on the station include home and a combo jack 3, 5 mm to accommodate a headset or microphone. Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0 are included, but like the Envy X2, no NFC chip seems to be present. HP, again indicate that this gadget will be available in August in the U.S. for beginner for a starting price of $ 799.99. We'll see what the manufacturer offers when these two products will be announced on the old continent.

The Brand New Google Wallet!

New quick actions buttons will appear on Gmail, with extended interaction without opening a message option. The launch was missed out on some big announcements from Google I / O that night, but the online email client, Gmail, has also benefited from up-to-date on both sides of the Atlantic, according to a blog posted by the team in charge of the mail. All its willingness to deploy the technology more broadly based Google Now, the "intelligent" scheduler on Android; Google has incorporated some features in Gmail. A plane ticket can be confirmed in an email? Google automatically extracts data from the reservation (date, time, flight, airport, etc.) and appears at the top of the message. It helps you in doing quick action without opening the message. The "buttons fast action" also makes their appearance in this up-to-date, that allow interaction without even opening a message. If the user receives an invitation for example, he can answer it without even getting in the mail, thanks to "RSVP" function. It is integrated in a "things to do", which also includes other features like the ability to note a place where you went from his inbox, type etc. menu. These features will be gradually deployed in the coming weeks, said the giant.

This may seem little but it is relatively significant in the context of the announcements made yesterday during the Google I / O conference Now once his assistant deployed in Chrome, it may apply its ambition to "provide information to the right place at the right time", automatically displaying reminders of different services, and adapting them to the situation. Now Google could, for example, offer a route automatically on his Smartphone at a time when the user is supposed to leave to catch his plane. Yes Google Wallet integrated with Gmail. Other features may be added for developers, Google promises. The giant also revealed that they launched in United States a new money transfer system through email. As it is possible to quickly link a document Google Drive or file on your computer, a new icon appears in the message editor to allow sending money. The feature uses the Google Wallet, Google's electronic wallet system, and the user has to decide the amount to be sent and the recipient. This is the time reserved for the United States, but Google Wallet seems anyway having to expand. Payment in-app improved on Android integration default system setting to provide new APIs for developers ... Google seems determined to impose his wallet, and no doubt that the feature does not take long to get in here.

You can chat with your Google Chrome soon!!!

We cannot say that Google relies on its laurels for Google Chrome. While the Internet giant has recently taken the decision to separate heavy WebKit last month by announcing the launch of its own rendering engine, he unveiled a new how to use the browser on Mac and PC. Like the mobile versions, it will be possible to search by voice from his computer. Google wants to provide a non-interface approach. Suffice it to say "Ok Google" then the question and Chrome by exploiting the different services Google will try to answer your question. Just like Siri, the user can ask a question without having to adapt their language to the machine. We will instruct Chrome as "send an email to Florist" or "Show me my photos of Elixir of Knowledge taken last year." This system can help you of course for your local search (finding a restaurant, how to go to a certain place etc. On its system, Google makes no mystery. The more you give them any information about yourself and you can utilize more of their services, the more Google will be able to give you relevant results. Voice Search will be available in Google Chrome. This feature should allow Google to clearly differentiate its browser competition. The least we can say is that Chrome has the wind in its sails. In Europe and in France, he now closely heels Internet Explorer. Google Chrome now has over 750 million active users. Just last month, the web browser Internet giant has attracted more than 300 million new users. The head of Google, Sundar Pichai, did not give the distribution between users of the desktop version and that of the mobile version. However, he indicated that this segment was surging. Just like its big brother, Chrome Mobile for Android is constantly improving. The new version presented is 50% faster. On this occasion finally, Google has demonstrated Racer, a fairly simple game that has been played for Chrome Mobile (it works with the iOS version), but has the distinction of being multiplayer up to five users.

The new Google Maps!

Google must have some news on the occasion of the conference Google I / O, which begins today. Of these, we expect a new version of Google Maps, its famous mapping service that is still widely reference. Due to a technical error, this new version has been posted online by mistake a few minutes, enough anyway to the website Droid Life made a few catches ... The aim of this update is to provide users the most interesting information at the time when they need it most. Thus, a search for museums in San Francisco highlights the museums of the capital with a stripped card which appears only on the streets, some important buildings, Metro stops and especially museums represented in red map. We can also note that the map fills the screen; the search of Google Maps is placed above in the upper left corner. Other information collected can be integrated with the Google Earth without a module, but only for browsers with WebGL can be enabled. With the latest versions of Safari, it is not active by default, but you can activate it by displaying the "Development" in the preferences menu, then there checking a box. For Google Chrome, it is logically simple: if your machine is compatible then it will be active. Always with a view to provide better information, improved Google Maps route finding with support aircraft, but also multimodal routes. Between two points, and the service may display the time in the car, but also by train, by public transport or bus as applicable. Need to change the setting; everything will be automatically displayed on the map. This new version should be offered as a closed beta first, it will ask for an invitation to enter. Ultimately, the current site will be replaced by the new version, but we do not know what the search giant intends to mobile side. Answer certainly during the Google I / O.

BitTorrent says “1 PB of data exchanged”!

Two weeks after being made available for its Sync client, BitTorrent has decided to take on the amount of data exchanged via its service. The figure is quite impressive: 1 Petabyte in just 14 days. But a question remains unanswered: how these figures are collected when no centralized server is at their part? The company says on this point. In late January, BitTorrent unveiled Sync, a synchronization client who wants an alternative to Dropbox. The latter uses the BitTorrent protocol, but does not offer centralized server. Two weeks after its opening at all, the company reported on the use of its application, and the results appear to exceed their expectations. Indeed, 1 Po (or 1,000 TB) of data was exchanged during this time, more than 70 TB per day.

Some wondered how the company can get this kind of information and what exactly where the details collected. To answer these questions, it has updated the ticket and gives some explanation: "We have some general statistics on the application; we do not have access to private information." It then adds the Sync client periodically checks for new updates are available and then he took the opportunity to send "anonymous statistics" with, for example, how the data is transferred, the file size and the number files synchronized. As pointed out by a user on the forum of BitTorrent, the Sync client performs indeed queries on Usyncapp.com server via a very special URL, in which there are some details: BitTorrent states that this information has been deliberately left visible to the user: "This is the only information we collect and how we use, and we have deliberately left open. In this way, you can easily check that we do not have access to private information, just general statistics on the application. “ Anyway, some would certainly have liked to disable this option, which does not appear in the current state of things possible, perhaps in a future update?

Samsung promises of free storage on the Galaxy S4

The range of preinstalled software on the Galaxy S4 occupies nearly half of the 16 GB of storage. Samsung has promised to find a solution to reduce this footprint. Hailed for its performance, the quality of its 5-inch display and the battery life of 2600 mAh, Galaxy S4 was hand pinned to the interest and even the usefulness of the set of preinstalled software that offers. But its pre loaded software which occupy a large part of the memory storage device. In England, an analysis by BBC Watchdog has indeed revealed that S4 16GB had only 9 GB free. At first, the Korean company had minimized this problem by referring to the possibility of using an external memory card. Probably concerned with pictures, but they finally changed their mind. In a statement to The Inquirer, a spokesman for Samsung said that a solution would be found to free up storage space. A future update will show what changes are made in the range of S4 software.

The MySosh application available on Windows Phone 8, with limited options!

As promised, Sosh just put online their MySosh application for Windows Phone 7.5 and 8. Of course, it helps keep you updated on your data consumption and voice, access your past bills and manage your options, but some features are missing. For many months together requested by users, the monitoring of consumption data is now available on MySosh application for Android and iOS. Now, customers who have a Windows Phone can also enjoy. On their blog, Sosh states that "this version is slightly different from the iOS and Android versions but will meet most of your needs." Indeed, it is possible to track consumption data and voice, and you can view your last twelve bills and manage its options, some features are conspicuously absent. This is for example the case of community space that provides access to Sosh News, Sosh board, forum, etc. As for the Android and iOS apps, you will need to connect at least once to the Orange network so that the application is associated with your Sosh account. As a reminder, the Orange Application already offered similar functionality, remains to be seen whether there are differences between the two. Anyway, MySosh is compatible with Smartphones running Windows Phone 7.5 and 8. You can download it now.

May Patch updates checks the Microsoft plugs for any critical security flaws in Windows operating systems. Microsoft provides with May's Patch Tuesday security updates totally ten, of which two ranks by the company as critical one, and the other eight as important one. These updates fix 33 vulnerabilities in all Microsoft operating systems from Windows XP to Office packages, Internet Explorer, as well as in special server programs. Patch MS13-038, there is finally an update that irons out the serious security problem in IE 8 - previously, users had a "fix-it" make do. Microsoft also provides a fresh version of the "Malicious Software Removal Tool" (32 bit, 64 bit). The patch MS13-037 resolves eleven privately reported vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer. The most severe vulnerabilities allow remote code execution if a user views a specially crafted Web page using Internet Explorer. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerabilities acquired in circumstances using the same user rights as the current user. For users whose accounts are configured to have fewer privileges, have less impacted than users who operate with administrative privileges. Microsoft's Tuesday Patch is usually on the second Tuesday of each month instead - so the following patch day is on 11 June 2013. The security updates will install automatically with the appropriate pre with active Internet connection.

“Hideout” new Disney’s interactive book for bed time stories!

The story before going to sleep is an lmmemorial ritual in many families will soon be turned upside down thanks to an innovation sponsored by Disney! Do you wish to use the light to live the characters in these stories? Disney is in all fronts for past several years. Yes they are in film, video games, comics and other areas, and there is much to do. What interests us this time is that some of their research teams currently working at Disney on the use of light applied to mobile phones and other items such as books. A project called HideOut. Their project will make books more interactive than ever. With portable projectors that could throw light on the books. The projector is equipped with infrared sensors that detect invisible to the naked eye inlaid on the pages elements. It then analyzes this data to recreate the form of light which is precisely the form required by the developers.

Of course, this technology is not confined only to books and concern video games, applications, Smartphone, board games, etc. Will develop a lot of new interactivity with objects of everyday life! Besides this HideOut project is also tested for table games and even wall! As you can see in the photos below, Disney Research also tested this technology for fun games for children and adults for some applications with these infrared markers released into the environment (tables, walls, other flat surfaces). Eventually your children could see dragons or knights magically out of their favorite storybooks! Or even find their heroes of Disney universe as if they were alive. This technology is of course still in the prototype stage and still requires some improvements. But we are confident and we think that such books could happen on our shelves very soon! And even if you do not have toddlers to wonder, maybe it will leave you with stars in your eyes and you ;) Be prepared to tell exciting stories to children?

Raspberry Pi camera hardware for 25 Euro

After months of waiting and after significant delay, the camera hardware for the Raspberry Pi is now available at retailers for just under € 25 excluding postage and is almost the same price as the Raspberry Pi Model A. Several guides have also been posted as well as some examples of uses. It has been nearly six months since the camera for the Raspberry Pi has made its first appearance for the general public, it was in November 2012 at the Electronica 2012 show. It was a question of finalizing the software part that was clearly not yet ready. This now seems to be the case since the two official distributors of Raspberry Pi and RS Components, offer this small module for sale. Rate side, it takes a little less than 25 € in both cases excluding postage. As a reminder, this optical sensor has a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels, 5 megapixels for photos. On the video side, the 1080p is supported at 30 frames per second (fps) and can go up to 60 fps in 720p and 90 fps at 480p.In order to exploit at best the Raspberry Pi Foundation offers us a short guide detailing how to enable support for the camera Raspbian the Linux distribution dedicated to this mini machine. You will also find some examples of how to simply capture a photo or video. For its part, the company has made a small DesignSpark video "Time-Lapse" which gives a small idea of what it can achieve.

AMD unveils Radeon HD 8970M

After an announcement of its Radeon HD 8000M earlier this year, AMD has finally decided to market the chip the more upscale; the Radeon HD 8970M. But as before, more than a novelty, this is a chip that has changed its name and won 50 MHz more. The graphics chips are often the scene of disappointment at the ads, especially when the period is not conducive to real innovations, like now. Blocked by 28 nm, the manufacturers keep their new architectures for later, and simply play marketing during this time. We thus have criticized the range of Radeon HD 8000M in the New Year. If they had the advantage of the household for the cheapest GPU, unifying around the GCN architecture, on top of the cart is entitled to what were already a few details. This is exactly what just happened with the HD 8970M which is presented as the new "flagship" brand when it is only a Radeon HD 7970M with a sprig of Turbo. In fact, the GPU does not change because it is again a Pitcairn with 1280 processing units. The base frequency is 850 MHz and the memory is clocked to 1200 MHz for its part, as above. In fact, the only thing that seems new is the presence of a Turbo mode to increase to 900 MHz in some cases, and thus announce 2.304 TFLOPS of computing power against 2.176 TFLOPS above. In short, nothing is really appealing; but AMD uses this opportunity to indicate that the solution would be more efficient than a GeForce GTX 680M, which does not eat bread. It will be interesting to see what they will face the GTX 780M soon to be announced ... if it is not there also a simple name change. Anyway, MSI launch partner and used it to indicate that it will market its GX70 3BE using this graphics chip and an APU A10-5750m of Richland generation. Performance will announce revised upwards compared to the previous generation (9.8% in 3DMark Fire Strike 1080p). Remains to be seen what will happen in practice.

Firefox 21 available now!

The new version of the Firefox browser which is more social on the workstation, and improves compatibility with HTML5 on Android is available now. Up-to-date for your Firefox on PC (GNU / Linux, Mac OS and Windows) and Android is available right now. The news was announced yesterday by Johnathan Nightingale, vice president of software engineering on Firefox. The feature most highlighted is a system called "Firefox Health Report". It must "save the basic information about the health of your browser (launch time, total operating time, the number of crashes, etc.), and give you the tools to understand this information and repair any problem." In a blog post by Mitchell Baker, head of the Mozilla Foundation, we learn what measures have been put in place to enable these new features while maintaining the confidentiality of personal data of users, the traditional point of work and communication Mozilla. The 21.0 version of Firefox, however, may provide anonymous data on Mozilla browser usage information regularly.

The feature can be easily disabled, but Mitchell Baker hopes it will remain enabled by default on most workstations. No personal information is collected, she assured. The Social API, appeared with Firefox 17.0, is enriched by several connectors. While Facebook was launched as the most significant "use case", the Social API is now compatible with Cliqz (recommended reading), Mixi (Japanese social network) and msnNOW, according to a blog dedicated separate the social use of the browser. And for Android special new fonts and HTML5 is available. For Firefox users on the workstation, the up-to-date is automatic or can be done manually via the Help menu (Help> About Firefox) if necessary. Depending on the preferences of each user, it will automatically or manually on Android, or can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

SimCity Updated!

Maxis and Electronic Arts announced recently that the next update of SimCity will be deployed soon. 3.0 stamped this new version bring once again focus on traffic problems, the players complain since the launch of the title. The updates of SimCity are very similar to that of the previous version. After version 2.0 deployed in late April, with a lot of bugs, it has taken a few extra days to see the land version 3.0. At this rate, SimCity will soon catch up with Chrome on the numbering of its updates. The program for this new version has many features many bug fixes, including addressing trafficking, and management indicators RCI. On the first point, the main addition is from a modification of the routing system. U-turns and the attitude of the vehicles have been reviewed and are expected to improve traffic flow. Similarly, the working hours of different businesses and industries of the cities will be slightly offset to avoid peak traffic. Finally, the vehicles will turn right when the traffic lights are red, again to facilitate traffic. About RCI indicator changes are minor but annoying bugs fix. For example, some abandoned buildings could not be reoccupied ... because moving trucks do not have access. Finally, some more surprising bugs are also deleted. For example, the university will now be able to cross the road when walking, which was clearly not the case so far, and the buildings will no longer overlap. The rating upgrade is available here in English. Still expect the deployment of this update before declaring victory, the latest of which brought its share of surprises.

A Guide to Renting a Kiosk in a Shopping Centre

Touch screen kiosks have been around for a few years now, but recently their popularity has exploded, with more and more businesses deciding to invest in the technology to help increase their customer satisfaction, and in turn increase their sales.
One of the more popular places to put a kiosk is inside a shopping mall. This is an especially good decision for a small business, particularly if they have only recently opened. Renting a kiosk is so much cheaper than renting an entire store, for more than just the obvious reasons.
For a start, a kiosk takes up much less room and uses much less energy, meaning your monthly outgoings on overheads will come right down. Another reason is that a kiosk is self-manned – you don’t need to hire any staff or spend your own precious time behind the till; the kiosk does it all for you.
There are even more advantages to using a kiosk, touch screen or not, so what are you waiting for? Here’s an easy guide to renting one yourself.
Do Your Research
Find your local shopping mall and start researching the shopping trends. If you are going to rent kiosk space there, you’ll want to make sure there is a steady flow of human traffic the majority of the time; how are you going to turn a profit without potential customers walking by?
If your local has a lower amount of foot traffic, you don’t want your kiosk going there – it’s that simple.
Look at Locations
If you’ve found a suitable shopping centre, the next thing you have to do is start looking at locations for your kiosk. For a kiosk to be successful, you need to carefully consider where you’re going to place it.
You want somewhere with fairly constant traffic flow, preferably near some popular shops. Kiosks placed in the back end of the mall next to the two empty pods, the closed GameStation and the 99p Store aren’t likely to attract the big bucks.
Plan Your Business
It’s probably wise to assume you already know which services or products your kiosk will be selling, so make sure you feel it’ll fit in well at the mall. Speak to the shopping centre’s manager to let them know your plans – give them financial details to prove that it’s viable and that you can afford the rent.
Ask the management lots of questions; prepare these in advance. Ask about rent, fees, insurance, location and if anything is provided for you, as well as any other enquiries you might have. It would be wise to find out how much the deposit will set you back.
Lease and Permits
Once you’ve got hold of the lease from the management, it is time to double check that you have all of the required business permits. You will probably need a sales tax permit, which states that you will charge sales tax on any items bought from your kiosk. You may also need your National Insurance number. Ask the management if you’re unsure what you’re required to get.

Future Supersonic Aircraft Tested by NASA!

After the crash of July 2000, the Concorde was finally placed permanently on the ground in November 2003. Ten years later, a new supersonic aircraft will perhaps make its appearance in the sky and has just been tested on the premises of NASA. As Concorde is no longer in 2003 (it is still open to the public at the Museum of Air and Space at Le Bourget), a new successor looks set to take over from the supersonic adventure. This is the U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing launched the site of the new aircraft sleek aerodynamic design. Everything is done for speed exceeds the sound barrier. It is that the device, which has no name yet, was tested in the premises of the Glenn Research Center of NASA in Cleveland, Ohio. This experimental research center has a blower ("wind tunnel") long and a few meters wide which have been tested in a replica of the prototype.

A dedicated page on the NASA website explains that "researchers are testing the overall design and performance options to reduce vehicle emissions and noise, and to determine whether the volume of sonic booms can be reduced to a level that would lead to a reversal of the current decision does not allow commercial supersonic flight on earth.” For now this prototype still looks to be in phase of intensive testing, but it is hoped that the engine Boeing will be approved quickly and move people in the near future. Traveling the world at supersonic speed ... We'd love to! Especially since everyone has not had the chance to board the Concorde! Meanwhile, the images of this aircraft make us think of the many Pokémon. How does it feel to know that the Concorde will surely have a successor?

Share Google Drive files with your websites

Google looks little bit flexible in the case of the Drive service that relatively made few changes since its launch. Thus, the client has recently given a slight update so that developers can now add a button dedicated to service within their sites. Google has recently introduced a Chrome extension allowing everyone to save a file in its storage space Google Drive. It did not seem enough because the company decided to offer a new feature for developers to add a in their websites to access directly to their applications in their Google drive. To do this you have to add a simple Javascript API Google+ and then add the specific item according to the need. Once this is done, the button will even help you to manage your identification pass. Some partner sites already offer, but for those who want to do the same or go further, specific documentation has been put online. You can now have access to the action "Share ... "Which will open a window for managing access to third parameters. Still, we would still like many other improvements that appear as notifications. Expecting more from Google; similar to that proposed by several of their competitors, thereby offering a better experience than them.

So far, the U.S., Canada and China enjoyed the supply of the device. As the tablet series sold little bit slowly Microsoft hold back with new announcements. Previously, they sold a half million devices and Microsoft had hoped for three to four million.

In the privacy of its research and development, Lab126, the e-commerce giant would work on several projects on Smartphones which no one knew until now. But now the Wall Street Journal says Amazon is developing a model equipped with a glasses-free 3D display. According to the description given in the article, the 3D images give the impression of floating above the screen such as holograms and are visible from all angles. Users would be able to control certain functions with eye movement, like that proposed by the Samsung Galaxy S4. If the idea of a Smartphone with 3D screen may surprise from a giant like Amazon, the Wall Street Journal explains that it would sort out as a leader to stand out from the competition. A second model of Smartphone, more conventional, would ensure volumes. There is also talk of a device for streaming audio streaming via a WiFi connection to speakers or TV.

Nikon D3100: A good choice for any photographer

For those wishing to try out DSLR cameras for the first time or are attracted to its eye-catchy and appealing design, the Nikon D3100 is clearly a better choice. DSLR cameras are Digital Sing-Lens Reflex Cameras that made a great debut in the market several years ago, and have never ceased to amaze even newcomers. They combine the Single-Lens Reflex (SLR) camera with a digital camera back producing a very strong, enticing and user-friendly camera. It is this marriage of the SLR camera with its digital counterpart that not only provides the main difference between these cameras and digital cameras, but also gives it the unique performance that most photographers are attracted to every season.
Apart from making a reputable name as an entry-level or beginner DSLR camera, the Nikon D3100 is truly an asset that any serious photographer should have it his or her collection. It's performance compared to its immediate predecessor is very commendable. With a 14.2 Megapixel CMOS sensor and a 1080P HD video at 24fps (H.264), this camera is definitely capable of capturing very brilliant photos as well as spectacular videos for normal use. At a price that is just right for the pocket, this is a true must-have even for a professional photographer who from time to time needs to brush up on their photography or video-shooting skills.
The veterans in the field of photography will agree with me that the Nikon group of digital cameras have earned a great name as arguably the best performing cameras in low light conditions. Apart from its full HD video capture capabilities, the Nikon D3100 camera also offers basic image editing right in the camera without having to mess around with external video or photo-editing software. One major advantage of the DSLR cameras over point-and-shoot cameras is the versatility or the wide choice of lenses that can be used or customised to capture photos and videos in a specific way. The Nikon D3100 is no exception in providing this advantage to its users while also maintaining its attractive ergonomic features.
The Nikon D3100 also comes with a lens kit increasing the variety of options to choose from while attempting to capture the best shot in your photography or video-shooting sprees. It is important to note however, that while it is compatible with other Nikon lenses, it will only auto focus with AFS compatible lenses. Auto Focus Silent Wave (AFS) is a type of focusing motor used in a number of AF Nikon lenses, and the AFS motor is known to be very fast and quiet. These lenses are not only a state-of-the-art invention, but also famed worldwide for delivering more quality than they promise. The Nikon D3100's fast 11-point auto focus system coupled with split-second shutter response truly eliminate the frustration of shutter delay as well as capturing those moments that other cameras usually miss.
Its compact and lightweight design enables it to enjoy more popularity especially amongst armatures in the field, and new-entrants who are looking not only for quality and design but also for increased portability in their gadgets. However, due to its small and compact body, the Nikon D3100's viewfinder is relatively quite small, and might need to be improved in the future models. It is true that its high quality photos, image sharpness, amazing video-recording capability and its easily-navigable guide mode makes it stand out amongst the rest. It is crystal clear that if you are a hobbyist, a lens-professional photographer, or a photographer searching for the best DSLR camera with a tight budget, then the Nikon D3100 is obviously the best choice for you.
