Apple surpasses Microsoft in 2010

·
While
Apple and Microsoft have released their quarterly results this week, it appears that the firm at the Apple posted a net profit greater than that of Microsoft for the first time in its history, the third quarter of 2010.
Apple climbs faster than Microsoft

This confirms the trend that had emerged during 2010, when Apple had already announced a turnover higher than its rival, but surpasses it as regards earnings. This has now changed, because with record net income of $ 6 billion, the company ranks ahead of Microsoft and its profit of 5.23 billion.

Note that Apple has registered a turnover of 24.67 billion dollars over that period, surpassing once again Microsoft and its turnover of 16.43 billion. Microsoft remains satisfied with these results, considered "solid.”
