Keecker- Interesting Machine That Can Move Around Your Room

Keecker
Keecker is a type of mobile computer  Robot that consists of a projector along with an audio structure on a mobile base and also a group of potentially attractive sensors. However, its designers do not imagine it as a robot. CEO, Pierre Lebeau stated that robots are often portrayed as utilitarian and mechanized man’s tasks, and it is not parallel to Keecker. In fact, they really deemed Keecker as the development of computers and it is 100 percent made for a house or collective atmosphere.

Some hardware and software of the system-

It is a number of sensors and figures that is utilized to help this Keecker to be in motion, lock-in on people and keep away from obstacles. The manufacturers apply a combination of infrared with ultrasound signals, manifold camera imagery system and also Wi-Fi network method and many more.
The machine possesses some of the autonomous abilities.

Keecker shifts from one room to another room and can remember definite spots in your home. Therefore you can order it to go from one spot to another in only one click. You may even manage this Keecker yourself from your own Smartphone even though you are not at home. It is because it will run its camera to your handset and will allow you shift it in actual time.

Keecker can moreover be programmed to shift from room to room in the day or at night to test if all is normal. When the charge of battery is low, this device goes back to revive itself.

In accordance with Lebeau, while you first take Keecker into your home it starts moving around, by means of a 360-degree camera on its head to work out the ground space. When that mapping is finished, you may name every room, then you can point Keecker to move there with the valve of a switch. Lebeau was motivated by cleaning bots such as the Roomba, but he did not want Keecker to be exactly the same. Roomba can just hit into the wall and it is very stupid-like.

When you are out of the home it can be set to identify motion and check temperature, moisture, and CO2 amount. It can also change your babysitter, or even let you to simply keep a watch on her from the ease of your Smartphone. This device also contains a microphone, permitting it to act as a center for video calls or get voice commands. You can connect it with your phone via Bluetooth.

Length of the device-

Keecker is a supple, plastic orb that is about eleven inches broad and sixteen inches in length. It goes around the floor on a couple of wheels, which make it appear like a remote. You can manage it on your phone through an app for iOS system or Android.

Thus, when bring home this HomePod, Keecker and take it out from its container, it would start to look around, examining every part of the room. Later, you can instruct it to go to a specific position in your house, from your app.

Crazy about selfies? HTC Gives you a Grand Opportunity

HTC Desire Eye
The Taiwanese company HTC has now given a thought to the camera of the smartphones they are producing as because they are well aware of the craze in selfies among the public. And if you are one among them, then it is good news for you too. The Taiwanese company is trying to build the camera in a way that the pictures come out clearer almost in an HD form so that you are quite satisfied with the results. For that reason, the companies are trying to inculcate the following features in the cameras of the Smartphones.

Features that HTC is trying to fit in

  • The HTC Desire Eye has managed to bring a 13mega pixel camera and a dual LED flash above the screen where the phone’s speaker is placed. This will give the extra advantage of increased clarity so that the customers are totally satisfied with the picture quality that they are getting. It is one of the highest resolution front facing camera that has been launched so far.
  • HTC wants to cover the differences between the front facing and the rear-facing camera so that the selfies are as clear and good as the normal other pictures are. And since people are more fond of selfies, this feature will indeed turn out to be one of the most popular of the lot.
  • HTC has beaten others in the field as to where camera is concerned. With a front camera with strong resolution, it has almost made a great leap in the arena of technology.
  •  This camera is fully complete with auto focus and 1080p video recording too which means that if you have a party going on at your background, you can record the whole of it without having to exclude yourself from the scene which is a pretty interesting fact as well.
  •  The dual LED flash is the one, which is responsible for the clarity of the picture. So even if you are in a dark zone, you can always get your picture clear. And yes, the flash has been designed so that the picture appears as if taken from a normal light mode so that the picture does not carry a ghostly white appearance of you, or you do not look pale in it.
  • The Desire Eye has truly been a smart move for all the selfie lovers and those who are not that much addictive to them will soon be obsessed with selfies if they get hold of this gadget just for once. Now it is just a matter of time to see whether the customers are really happy with this new move or not.
  • Desire Eye is giving all these features at much cheaper rates than other smartphones. Though these specifications sound costly, yet they are not so. At least not when HTC is the launching company. Not only the price, but also the quality of the specifications is what makes this phone unique.

HTC Nexus 9 Tablet to prove as a Tough Competitor

HTC Nexus 9 Tablet
While the Chinese Telecomm companies are making intense rapid progress by designing their smartphones with meticulous features which are available in the market at an extremely affordable price, it has become a challenge for telecomm companies Samsung, HTC to remain in the competition. To keep in pace with the competition, HTC reports revealed that they are going to launch Google Nexus 9 tablet powered by Tegra K1 64-bit processor in the third quarter of 2014. This has ushered frenzy among the mobile manufacturers who are looking forward for the launch of the device.

Reason for making such a comeback:

HTC took the challenge to develop such a device mainly because to gain worldwide acclamation as a leading smartphones manufacturers. In 2012, HTC manufactured HTC Flyer, which failed to dominate the market and attract audience’s attention. So they’ve high hopes for unveiling Nexus 9 tablet. Previously, HTC rejected Google’s offer for collaboration to manufacture tablets because they claimed to have been busy in promoting their smartphone business globally, which later did not reward much fruitful success.

However, rumors states that Nexus 9 will not be available in US, owing to the ill-fated failure of the previous tablet HTC Flyer in 2012. The Wall Street Journal claims that HTC is working collaboratively with Googleplex in Mountain View upon Nexus 9, which will be soon unveiled to the citizens.

Leaked News about the Specification of the Tablet:

There might be several rumors about the Nexus 9, but certain features have been confirmed to be present in the device. One of the speculative killer features that have been incorporated in the device is the 64-bit NVIDIATegra K1 Denver processor, which has been predicted to be highly superior to the Snapdrgaon processor present in the existing android devices.

In addition to that, sources reveal that the device will run on 3GB RAM, contrary to 4GB RAM which exists in most of the devices. In addition, the device is assumed to sport an8.9 inch AMOLED display, with a 2048x1440 pixel density with 241ppi. The device will have aluminum rear with a thickness of .31mm and will weigh 418gm. The aluminum rear is assumed to provide a better protection for the device from shocks and slight scratches. In addition, the device will sport with 8MP rear camera and 3MP front facing camera. Unfortunately, there has been no news about the presence of LED flash. The tablet will be powered by 4900mAh lithium battery, and will run on the latest Android 5.0 L (Lollipop, Lemon Cheesecake) which will enhance its performance. The device will be available in 16GB and 32GB variant without any external expansion slot.

The price has been expected to be around $399  and $499 respectively while the LTE version is expected to cost around $600.

Conclusion:

Android technology has skyrocketed in the recent years and has been running a wide array of devices ever since it is advent in the market. With its breathe taking features, market analysts envisage HTC’s comeback in the smartphone market in the distant future.

Reasons of Setbacks for the Launching Of Xbox One

Xbox One
Microsoft has kept on waiting until practically the final possible moment to delay the release of the Xbox One in the country of China. It was originally scheduled to be launched on Tuesday, that is, September 23rd. At present, they are stating it will be out in the nation prior to the end of the year. However, they are quite ambiguous about the causes behind the delay.

A Microsoft spokesperson declared that they are really proud as they are able to deliver exciting games and amusement by means of Xbox. He also said that to keep that promise it is needed to alter the launching date of this Xbox. Working in collaboration with their associate, BesTV, they look forward to release it in China by the closing stages of this year.

Selling of Xbox One-

According to the other sources of news, it has been learned that the Xbox One appear in Japan, selling almost 23,562 pieces its first 4 days. In the past, the Xbox has not been sold great in Japan. The 360 traded 62,135 units in 2 days after releasing in Japan, while the new Xbox was sold 123,929 its initial weekend. This dispute is contradicted by those referencing unofficial news that the Xbox One had one lakh preorders in China ahead of its launching. Microsoft is working with twenty-five various sales partners in China, with nearly four thousand physical outlets. Excited gamers can even buy the Xbox One via online.

Reasons of the delay-

The delay is the most recent in a sequence of setbacks for the company Microsoft in China, where this is under investigation for supposed anti-trust violations associated with the Windows operating system and also Microsoft Office. The Chinese government raised a 2000 ban on the gaming consoles previously this year. Microsoft had reached a deal with Chinese internet television set-top box creator BesTV New Media Co Ltd to make a joint venture to produce the consoles in Shanghai's Free Trade Zone one year ago.

China has the huge, infamous video game black market filled with low-priced, cracked systems. The problems with being the first new console to release in China have probably made Microsoft understand that they have to build a few extra things out. Still, it is surprising that the delay was proclaimed literally 3 days away from the assumed launch, indicating something rather great must have come up rather soon.

From the last obtainable data or as per the global information, the Xbox One sold at 5.1M pieces lags behind Nintendo's Wii U as well as Sony's PS4 (10M). The ratios of their sales are more balanced in the country of America that has always had a soft corner for Xbox, but distorted elsewhere in the world, mainly in the Asian as well as European markets where it is released. Satoru Iwata, Nintendo president stated in May that the company wants to launch new game tools in emerging market in the year 2015 but did not indicate its plans any more than that.

Intel Wireless Charging In a Bowl Expected Soon

Intel Wireless Charging Bowl
Everybody’s got attracted to the fact the vendors were announcing long battery life and various strategies for the electronics gadgets. This interested can be easily attributed to the fact that the customers are looking for easiest and less time consuming to keep their mobile gadgets and other smartphones up and running. Intel is looking to be the leader in technology giants and give the customers with the best solutions.

According to Intel Corporation's CEO, Brian Krzanich, the wireless charging bowl of Intel targeted for devices like smartphones is expected to be available in the market around end of 2014. This was stated in the MakerCon conference in New York. Brian Krzanich was selected as the CEO for the chipmaker in 2013.

Even though this announcement of the charging bowl was around January, this was among the first few ideas of the CEO which was introduced at International Consumer Electronics Show. According to the CEO, the idea of the charging bowl has received overwhelming response from the customers and tech shows and they are being constantly contacted by the customers to get more information about the device release date.

Although the price of the device has not been revealed, but according to the CEO the device will be expected to be launched by the holiday season. Brian also indicated that the company is currently working on number of projects and also gave road maps for the same.

As per the reports many products are at the final stages or have been revealed and some of them already hitting the retail stores.

Brian also disclosed that the concept behind the charging bowl is classic. He stated that he saw some of the employees of Intel sitting at a table and discussing the currently available wearable in the market and how it becomes irritating for them to put a plug to keep the device working and powered up. This led to the basic concept of developing something which can be used to charge the wearable devices without plugging or by throwing it on something.

Earlier this year, it was absolutely clear that Intel was working on something in the coming days which will make the people of the PC environment to enjoy charging as a wireless experience. Intel's senior vice president and general manager of the PC Client Group, Kirk Skaugen was able to demonstrate the process in which the wireless technology can be incorporated in a table which will have the capability to charge a number of devices at the same time. The wireless charging bowl is similar to any normal bowl one can find at home to put keys, loose coins and some other items.

According to Brian, one of the team member stated that she throws her jewelry in bowl once she reaches home. This gave them the idea to convert the chip bowl and make it into a charger. The team went to a nearby Wal-Mart, picked up a chip bowl and manipulated it to make a charger. This idea actually worked.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha

Samsung Galaxy Alpha
With its last release Samsung Galaxy S5 not reaching extraordinary sales in the market, the South Korean company is now releasing a flagship in the Galaxy Series the “Samsung Galaxy Alpha”. Just after a few days of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus release in the smartphone market. Though a major and a competing move against their arch rivals Apple, this phone just seems to be a mixture of its ancestors and iPhones.

Samsung at last launches a real alpha phone in terms of processing speed, display and camera. But still seems to lag behind in terms of design and storage.

Display and Dimensions:

With 5.2" inch screen it fits easily into the hands and pockets, also feels ease to work with just one hand. The device comes with a dimension of 5.21” x 2.58” x 0.26” and weighs around 115grams. The super AMOLED display is quite good and manages to show about 16M colors, though it is disappointing with 720x1080 pixel screen.

Processor:

With quad core processor, the ease of working with apps and switching between apps is like riding a skateboard on oil with a 2GBof RAM and being said that at the time of release in India it is said to come out with an octa-core processor. Again, thanks to the extraordinary processor, which is worth a major portion of the money invested in buying this phone.

Design:

It feels like Samsung has tried to imitate the iPhone 5 design by giving the phone a metallic ring on the sides, though its ancestors got the same ring around. The device looks like the design is majorly inspired from iPhone 5 while looking through the side view. The back cover design gives the phone a toy look and seems to be a break-with-ease cover. Again, it seems like Samsung imitated the iPhone's thin lock design, when seen from the sides and has the typical Samsung design from front and back. So, On the whole the design seems to be a mediocre increase from the Galaxy S2.

Camera:

Alpha has a 12MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera with an LED flash and auto focus option. The quality of front camera is quite good when it comes for video calling. The phone's camera has got quite an improvement from the S5, when it comes to the quality of pictures that are captured in the dark. Still, it feels like the camera can be improved a lot like it is with other smartphones (Sony, iPhone, Nokia) in the market of the same price level.

Memory:

The phone has got a 32GB internal storage, and the device has no extension slot for extending the device memory. 2 GB of RAM allows the users to run multiple applications at the same time.

Interface:

It comes with the latest version of Android OS v4.4. It appears like the problems of Samsung phones with Android OS almost disappeared in this phone still a pure android feature would be of a great relief for users.

Top 5 features of iPhone 6: Is it worth it?

iPhone 6
Pre-launch of iPhone6 was very thought, as the market has sparked discussions among consumers about the amazing features that Apple has for their next generation iPhone. As part of discussion rumors features Apple has a mix package of new, old and ideas depending on the existing generation of iPhones.

i.New iPhone6 on Solar batteries:

An interesting change, considering consumers comfort the pre-launch rumor includes solar power for iPhone 6 which could be charged all through the day. With Solar charging kit already existing in the market, the original rumored idea is a front sapphire display glass in-order to have a solar collector. All Apple needs to do is get their technical and designing team to compact the technology in-order to be set into the body of iPhone.

ii.iPhone with Holographic projections:

The new concept of holographic in iPhone 6 could immensely change everything - crave.
To the disappointment of all the Apple fans the holographic projection was not a part of the feature of the iPhone 6. Though this rumored feature or the holographic display could have hyped up the sale and market for the next generation iPhone, the known fact about Apple is that they are never the first to venture into this until some other company tries it out. For iPhone lovers, this may not be a true feature, and Apple could involve or enhance these features of products like the iPhone 6 or iPhone 7 too.

iii.Camera Features - 10MP & Lens functionality:
Though per ValueWalk there was a rumour that the iPhone 6 will be featured with a swappable lenses, the fact is that the iPhone has always made changes and upgrades to the camera software rather than the lens or the Megapixel. In comparison to Samsung Galaxy in particular S5 series where the rear camera itself is 16MP, the iPhone has always kept to 8MP starting from iPhone 4S right to iPhone 6 Plus. A swappable lens flexibility or functionality would surely be an added attraction for the Apple fans.

iv.Bendgate combat - A Flexible frame for iPhone 6 can be a bonanza:
Apple went through a lot with the "Bendgate" scandal which started when a user n the MacRumors forum indicated that after 18 hours in his pocket he found his iPhone 6 bent over. The reason for this bend over is still to be tested if it’s a user or manufacturing issue. All Apple stores were instructed to replace any defected unit in this respect. Now with this said, if Apple can use flexible sapphire glass and a bendable body just like LG-G flex, this will be a bonanza for both consumers and sales.

v.Water resistance technology:
Despite of the fact that competitor smartphones use IP67 waterproofing technology, Apple has still not implemented this technology in the next generation iPhone. Apple can really gear up the competition if they are able to crack through a technology as waterproofing IP68-rated smartphones, which would be more advanced than the current IP67 to boost both their markets and their consumer expectation.

HTC Focuses On Hardware Details Surface Apart From Usual Packs

HTC
While on one hand invitations have been sent out in New York regarding the unveiling of the new HTC smartphones, on the other hand leakers are busy to fish out details about the upcoming mobile HTC handset and its features which is currently given the codename “Eye”. According to the latest leak available courtesy of @upleaks gives us an insight about what can be expected from the new HTC smart phone.

But based on the leaked information, the HTC handset is expected to sport a 5.2 inch display along with 423ppi of pixel density and a 1080p resolution. The inside of this HTC handset is expected to have a Snapdragon 801 chipset which is on the similar lines as that of HTC One M8. HTC eye has been developed keeping the selfie lovers in mind. This phone is expected to have 1920 x 1080 Full HD display.

According to the latest reports HTC is planning to unveil two smartphones. The HTC One M8 Eye will come with a 13-megapixel Duo Camera and on the other hand HTC Eye will have a 5.2-inch 1080p display and expected to have an 8-megapixel shooter.

What seems to the main highlight of this HTC smartphones is that it comes with a 13 MP Duo Camera. This will be a welcoming move for the people who have been expecting HTC to get rid of their pointless Ultra Pixel tech. But at the moment no one can confirm whether HTC will be getting rid or probably upgrading their 13 MP Ultra Pixel sensor or even might to the extent of getting a standard camera like the one on Butterfly 2.

People need to ensure that they are not getting confused with the two models of the phones to be HTC One M8 Eye. Both these smart phones are different. The battery life of this new model is expected to be much better than the other android counterparts. M8 offers 22 hours of talk time and 528 hours standby on 3G in windows whereas in Android it will offer 20 hours of 3G talk time and 496 standby hours. Both the smart phones are expected to have different cellular radios. There are sure to get attracted towards the windows model.

At the end, the truth will finally come out on 8th of October in New York; this is the time when HTC’s new handset will be launched. Even though there is still lot of time for the launch, information leak is expected out in the market. The invitation tag line of double exposure has already raised expectations as well as curiosity among people.

This will work to popularise the gadget very fast and therefore, will link the effect to its sale and maximise the product worth.
  • Sony trying to the trendsetter again :-
Whether someone admits it or not, it is pretty clear that when it comes to setting an example or brings a trend into the market in the field of electronics and gadgets, Sony has had an upper hand most of the time over its counterparts. With Sony’s brand market value and great manpower, it has become a routine task for Sony to stay on watch for something new. Having done it with televisions, laptops, symbian phones, Sony is now planning to bring up something that very few had thought about.
  • Right time to bring it on :-
Just the moment when the world is going gaga over the ‘selfie’ fever, Sony has played a masterstroke to bring in gadget with its main focus and marketing brains on selfie. Hence, the sale is to be on the high and on demand.

Sony
What else is there to look for?

§ It is designed very differently with a rotating camera.

§ Has the ability to swivel around 260 degrees and therefore, can rapidly turn from a from facing to a back facing camera

§ Sony has allowed some selected users to use the gadget but it is still to be decided as to whether this will be a traditional Smartphone or a snapper!

§ Well, the news has surfaced through a website and still the whole deal is to be cleared and given to the public.

The Cybermen are coming

Xerox Robot Printer
If you are a fan at all of the UK television series Dr Who you will be intimately familiar with the deadly threat to peace in the universe that is posed by the Cybermen. The Cybermen are a race of cyborgs who began as humanoids but began to implant an increasing array of artificial parts into their bodies, ultimately deleting their own emotions as an essential act of self-preservation. It may be a bit of a leap to say that the development of a robotic printer by Fuji Xerox is a step along the slippery slope of becoming Cybermen, but you can never be too careful. Actually, on the face of it, the robotic printer that has been developed by Fuji Xerox looks really cool.

How does it work?

The printer comes to you - it’s as simple as that. This is particularly important for printing that you are doing that might be sensitive documents or contain commercially sensitive information. Of course the idea of secure printing isn’t a new one - there are already lots of different ways in which secure printing can be managed - but Fuji Xerox (the joint venture partnership between these two giants in the world of printing) have come up with the first printer that comes to you, the robotic printer and that’s fairly exciting. An example of how it would work would be if you were working in a shared business centre such as in a hotel or an airline lounge. Each desk is allocated a unique printing identity. When the user gives the print command, the printer then moves to that desk (using its sensors to avoid bumping into anything on the way), the user then presents a smart card to the Fuji Xerox printer that confirms their identity and the documents are printed out and readied for collection.

The obesity trap

Remember on the movie Wall-E when all the humans got so fat that they couldn’t really walk any more and just floated around while the robots did all the work? We need to heed that warning. If robotic printers are now bringing our printing to us at our desk, that is one less reason for us to get up out of our desks, that is one less reason for us to do some exercise. Do not give up that gym membership - the minute that we become too fat to walk is the minute that the robots take control.

Does anyone still print?

You might be wondering what the big deal about printing is anyway - with the move to online storage, and electronic everything, gone are the days when we needed enormous piles of paper on our desk to prove that we we were being productive. It may feel a bit antiquated, but there are still things that need to be signed and often these are the most important and sensitive documents which makes secure printing more of a priority today than ever before.

Robotic printer. Definitely a step forward. Definitely a step towards the future. Not necessarily a step towards us all becoming Cybermen.

Samsung’s New Note

Galaxy Note 4
Samsung on 3rd September, 2014 has announced a big-screen phone known as Galaxy Note 4. And it’s even got a companion with the release of Galaxy Note Edge and Gear VR at a media event, ahead of IFA 2014 tech expo in Berlin. Samsung is known for the updating of its existing devices or products and has been proving to do so since many years. Once again it has proved that they are not the loser’s to stay behind and has launched a big screen phone rather we can say it has a Phablet, a week before Apple announced its big screen phone. From this to release, it is proved that Samsung is now more interested to manage the note line that has gained much popularity among the users. So let’s see what’s new with this Phablet.

Features

This new Phablet comes with same 5.7 inch display size as that in note 3. But have successfully updated the display resolution from HD to quad HD. Most of you might think that this high resolution will consume large amount of charge but as per Samsung, they say that despite of this QHD resolution, Note 4 will deliver 7.5% more battery life due to an optimized interface.

Now when we are talking about battery let’s see what more it comes with. It comes with 3,220mAh battery, 20mAh more when compared to Note 3. The phone can be charged from 0-50% within half an hour due to the fast charging technology included in it.

Well. Depending upon the market, Note 4 comes with quad core or octa-core processor. For an Indian market, it comes with octa core processor and an international one has a 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor. At present, this quad-core processor is the most powerful in the world.

In today’s world, most of the people desire to have more storage capacity in their phone. Well, this might be a drawback for those as it comes only with 3GB of RAM but is expected to push the memory to 4GB. It gives storage option up to 32GB. There’s also a microSD slot to expand the memory up to 64GB.

It comes with high camera pixel. Rare camera has a 16MP resolution. Users can even enjoy the famous trend of selfie with this handset as it comes with 3.7MP front camera which allows taking wide angle selfies.

Software

Coming to the software side, note 4 uses an interface similar to that in Galaxy S5, i.e. Android 4.4.4 Kitkat. To make use of S Pen stylus, additional software too is optimized in it. Multitasking feature is improved when compared to its previous note.

Besides this, the most interesting thing that this note 4 comes with, which is not available in Note 3 is fingerprint sensor that is embedded in the home key along with a heart rate monitor on the back of the handset.

Conclusion

This is really an outstanding and amazing phone released to compete its competitor and hope will be accepted by everyone as it comes with all new technology as per the present world.

“Super Normal Hearing” Through Sonova’s New Microphone

Roger
Sonova, a Zurich based company has been able to successfully develop a new microphone which is in the shape of pen and called “Roger”. The name has been derived from terms used for radio communication to indicate receipt of message. It is wireless microphone which has the ability to transmit the voice of the speaker over a 2.2 GHZ frequency to a tiny receiver chip in the hearing aid.

This device has been designed to help the people who have loss of hearing to understand speech. This device is will be able to perform better even when compared to the normal hearing of the people. With the increase in the aging population, the demand of hearing aid is increasing in the industry and companies and manufacturers are trying to implement new technologies to attract more and more customers.

Through this product the company is aiming to retain their position as the market leaders in makers of hearing aid equipments. Company is generating nearly 70% of their revenue from the products which have been launched in the market less than two years ago.

The company has designed the product, which can be either placed on a table to use like microphone or can be hung around a speaker’s neck. It has the ability to enhance speech depending on the surrounding noise like industries, polluted traffic noise, if you are in a vehicle etc.

WHO has already indicated that nearly 5% of the people around the world have problem with hearing. This 5% data accounts for nearly 360 million people out of the world’s population. According to the Sonova’s Science and technology head, Stefan, this hearing aid will be very beneficial if the target of speech is atleast an arm distance away and not very close.

According to the study published by American Journal of Audiology, with the help of “Roger”, at 65 DB noise level, people with hearing loss (moderate or severe) were able to understand the speech much better than the normal hearing people. The sale of the pen has contributed towards the company’s wireless communication business by 19%.

As per Kevin, head of technology at British charity Action on Hearing Loss, even though there are other competitors in the market offering wireless communication products, the sale of roger pen is very discrete as it has a completely different ability of switching between different amplifying sounds coming from all the directions. Due to this rival company like GN Resound has launched their new product LiNX hearing aid through which the user will be able to enjoy music and take calls from their iPhones. They are considering the fact that people will opt for a hearing aid liked with a popular brand rather than simply wearing a hearing aid.

Even though “Roger” pen has its advantages, the inbuilt technology has limitations. At the end nothing can replace the power a brain has with any number of technical equipments and devices.

Nexus X – The First Android L Smartphone

Nexus X
The Nexus X (instead of Nexus 6) is highly anticipated smartphone for 2014, which is rumored to be launched by Google sometime this year – most probably being Halloween. As with last year’s pitch, Google might launch is without a separate announcement and sell it through its play store unlocked across the world. This would be the first smartphone to launch with Android L – the next major version of android with a facelift in form of a more modern design and pastel color palette.

The Expected Specifications

Internally, the Smartphone goes by the codename “Shamu” and its latest appearance was on AnTuTu benchmarks whose screenshots were leaked by TKtechnews and it referred to the phone as “Nexus X” – thus a departure from the usual numbering system. The leaked images confirm a 2.7 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM, Adreno 420 GPU – the fastest mobile GPU in market, a 13 MP camera with OIS and flash, and a 2.1 MP front facing camera. The images also confirm a 1440×2560 4K resolution with either 5.2’’ or 5.9’’ LCD IPS screen along with 32 GB and 64 GB non-expandable memory.

Android L in Tow

Nexus X will launch with Android L out-of-box – maintaining the tradition of Nexus line. Google has brought some major changes to the Android OS with a complete facelift. Google dubs it as the “Material Design” philosophy, which emphasizes light backgrounds, accented edges and shadows to give a feeling of depth without fancy 3D animations. The subtle animations present are intuitive and help to improve UX. The button overlays similarly are floating in nature with distinct colors and shadows. Further, notifications are improved with the most important ones grabbing your attention only with an improved lock screen.

Pricing and Availability

The Smartphone is being made by Motorola this time – which was recently acquired by Lenovo from Google. The most expected date of release would be October this year during Halloween. A recent screenshot from French retailer “Fnac” shows the Nexus X 64 GB Black version being available at €449 unlocked though the credibility of the leaks is in question. Fnac’s databases are not the safest and the leak could have been manufactured by hackers so take it with a pinch of salt. Earlier it was said the Nexus X would be priced at $ 499.99 by Best Buy for a 2-year contract on Sprint in the US. Though the impending launch of Apple’s next iPhone might make Google launch it on all carriers at once. It will be available internationally unlocked via Google’s Play Store.

Verdict

With iPhone 6 coming in Q3, Google is gearing up to launch its own Nexus X with the latest Android L in tow (which might go by the name “Lemon Meringue” once launched) and the top of the line hardware at competitive prices. Availability, performance and pricing will determine how the device performs. Further people are eager to get their hands on Android L, first demoed in Google I/O, which should definitely help the Smartphone.

New Software- Solve the Touch screen Problem of OnePlus One

OnePlus One
OnePlus has now launched latest software updating for the popular OnePlus One Smartphone. This installation is apparently made to solve a number of problems that the customers have reported concerning the OnePlus One Smartphone.

The major problem that the users of this OnePlus One Smartphone have informed is the issues regarding the touch screen of the model. Moreover, many owners have reported that they face problem at the time of locking their phone and also at the time of using the apps.

The newest software prepared for the OnePlus One is thus, actually designed to the problem, as well as a lot of other troubles with the handset and the update that is being released is known as the over the air or OTA update.

The new software includes the version CyanogenMod 11.0 XNPH33R, according to Android 4.4.4. It directs various types of bug issues together with power consumption problem and provides security update. OnePlus informs that the update offers significant security updates and solves some other issues.

Various changes for the updates

• Changed image quality

• Fixing of touch screen problem. However, it is not much helpful in spite of the fact that the update solves unsystematic touches problem, which seems to check unlocking of the phone. Besides, the grounding matter yet exists.

• Less power use in idle state

 • Audio updates

• CVE-2014-4943 and other update for security

OTA downloading method

At first, download the version of XNPH33R OTA for OnePlus One. After downloading the link, reboot the mobile and click the button ‘Volume Down’ when it is booting. The word ‘Start’ would come into view on the screen. After that, press the button ‘Volume Up’ for a number of times until you get Recovery button.

Link your OnePlus One to the PC by means of USB cable.Make sure that you have the newest adb version that holds the ‘side load’ command. Then, get downloaded the Android SDK. Place the downloaded file on PC and get a command prompt in the similar directory like the zip file.

Solution of different problems

The XNPH33R probably fixes the problem concerning the touchscreen, which caused it to overlook a number of inputs on the display screen right away while they were close to one other.

There was even a trouble with the grounding that made the touchscreen to create when the mobile was placed on particular surfaces, for example a pillow. The grounding problem also made it hard to utilize the touchscreen.

The new alteration can fix that trouble, although various users have stated that the touchscreen yet does not function appropriately for inputs adjacent to each other. This can create problems while you are typing letters or playing any game.

The OTA download connections are available only to those users who have not yet got the update notification.

Deciding Which New Phone Is The Best For You

Deciding which new phone is best for you comes down to what features you cannot live without. Keep these options in mind when you go shopping.

Office Demands vs. Home Business

Smartphone

A Smartphone that can handle multiple email accounts is essential for work but has little utility for home use. Blackberry devices, including the Blackberry 10, support POP email accounts and corporate servers that run Microsoft Exchange and Outlook Web Access. The downside for these phones is the general lack of an app store to give added business value.

If you're running a business from your home, try the iPhone 5S. Email connectivity is still possible across multiple accounts, including POP mail, IMAP and Microsoft Exchange, and you have access to the iTunes app market. The disadvantage you'll run into here is price -- about $600 without a contract.

Taking High Quality Pictures

Cameras on today's phones rival any standalone point-and-shoot on the market. Android phones and Windows phones dominate this segment of the industry with the Nokia Lumia 1021 leading the way with its 41-megapixel camera. This Windows phone's ZEISS element lens and PureView technology combines seven megapixels into one, enabling DSLR-quality photos with just a button touch.

On the Android side, the Samsung Galaxy S5's 16-megapixel camera provides high-end camera options that still best anything Apple has out there at the moment. The phone also incorporates real-time HDR technology, white balance presets, image stabilization, multiple focus settings and white balance presets.

Power to Run Your Apps

What good is it to have millions of apps available for download if your phone doesn't have enough RAM to run them? If you like to run a ton of apps at once or use your phone for graphic heavy games, you need a device that can handle the increased power demands. Samsung makes the devices with the highest RAM (random access memory) now available, including the Galaxy Note 3 (3GB of RAM). Sony's Xperia line of phones also features 3GB of RAM and comparable processor speeds to the Samsung Galaxy series but has lower display resolution.

Into the Future: Multiple media outlets confirmed that Samsung developed the world's first 4GB RAM chip for a smartphone back in 2013. That's enough power to run most desktop applications.

Phone Security Features

Keeping sensitive business information on your phone? You need a device that can keep your data secure and prevent access even if you lose it or someone steals it. Built-in fingerprint scanners on the iPhone 5S, HTC One Max and Samsung Galaxy S5 make certain that only you can unlock your phone. Remote data wiping for phones using Android or iOS operating systems helps you and your company cut sensitive information should the phone fall into the wrong hands. Take advantage of cloud storage features on the Android or iTunes app markets so your data doesn't need to live on your phone.

Handling a Heavy Workload

How long your phone can hold a charge can mean the difference between getting work done on the road and a desperate search for a wall outlet. PC Mag's own testing crowned the Huawei Ascend Mate2 as the leader in battery life with more than 30 hours available on a single charge. If you've never heard of the phone, that's because it's manufacturer only started offering smartphones in the United States in 2014. If you'd like a device with a more established sales history in the US, try the Droid Maxx. This phone has over 19 hours of battery life and full access to the Android app market and a 10MP camera.

Decide with Special Features

Some proprietary features set phones apart from the rest of the pack. If you have relatives and friends scattered across the country, you may want an iPhone to leverage FaceTime for more personal communication. Are you a person who hates typing on a touch screen? Try a phone like one from the Galaxy Note series, which incorporates a stylus for hand writing your notes.
Special features are no sign of a phone with staying power, however, so it's important to look at all factors before making a final decision.

Choosing the phone that's best for you comes down to how you view its importance in your daily life. Take these tips and go forth to make informed choices.
