Adobe Patches Security And Critical Vulnerabilities !

Adobe unlocks new versions of Flash Player and Air for various platforms. With the updates, the company includes a check to numerous critical vulnerabilities. With the May Patch Tuesday replaced the Adobe Flash Player version 11.7.700.169 through 11.7.700.202 version number (for Windows and Mac). Linux users also benefit from a patch, current version: 11.2.202.285. The Google Chrome browser automatically receives the latest flash player version with the next update of its own. Windows 8 also ensures that Internet Explorer 10 with the next version of the program only receives the Flash Player updates. For users of an Android device is also (OS version 2.x, 3.x, 4.x) a patch is available. Adobe updates by eliminating numerous critical vulnerabilities that allowed attackers to inject malicious code. Likewise, the software maker for the platform-independent runtime environment Air patches. Here users of all platforms should perform the upgrade on the version 3.7.0.1860 3.7.0.1530. Also, the SDK version (Software Developer Kit) gets missed an update. The Adobe Reader is available in versions 9, 10 and 11 in circulation - for all three there are updates. Once again vulnerabilities in its programs were known, Adobe decided to release updates for Adobe Reader, Flash Player & Co. at a fixed date. The choice fell on the second Tuesday of each month - that's Microsoft Patch Tuesday.

Raspberry Pi camera hardware for 25 Euro

After months of waiting and after significant delay, the camera hardware for the Raspberry Pi is now available at retailers for just under € 25 excluding postage and is almost the same price as the Raspberry Pi Model A. Several guides have also been posted as well as some examples of uses. It has been nearly six months since the camera for the Raspberry Pi has made its first appearance for the general public, it was in November 2012 at the Electronica 2012 show. It was a question of finalizing the software part that was clearly not yet ready. This now seems to be the case since the two official distributors of Raspberry Pi and RS Components, offer this small module for sale. Rate side, it takes a little less than 25 € in both cases excluding postage. As a reminder, this optical sensor has a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels, 5 megapixels for photos. On the video side, the 1080p is supported at 30 frames per second (fps) and can go up to 60 fps in 720p and 90 fps at 480p.In order to exploit at best the Raspberry Pi Foundation offers us a short guide detailing how to enable support for the camera Raspbian the Linux distribution dedicated to this mini machine. You will also find some examples of how to simply capture a photo or video. For its part, the company has made a small DesignSpark video "Time-Lapse" which gives a small idea of what it can achieve.

AMD unveils Radeon HD 8970M

After an announcement of its Radeon HD 8000M earlier this year, AMD has finally decided to market the chip the more upscale; the Radeon HD 8970M. But as before, more than a novelty, this is a chip that has changed its name and won 50 MHz more. The graphics chips are often the scene of disappointment at the ads, especially when the period is not conducive to real innovations, like now. Blocked by 28 nm, the manufacturers keep their new architectures for later, and simply play marketing during this time. We thus have criticized the range of Radeon HD 8000M in the New Year. If they had the advantage of the household for the cheapest GPU, unifying around the GCN architecture, on top of the cart is entitled to what were already a few details. This is exactly what just happened with the HD 8970M which is presented as the new "flagship" brand when it is only a Radeon HD 7970M with a sprig of Turbo. In fact, the GPU does not change because it is again a Pitcairn with 1280 processing units. The base frequency is 850 MHz and the memory is clocked to 1200 MHz for its part, as above. In fact, the only thing that seems new is the presence of a Turbo mode to increase to 900 MHz in some cases, and thus announce 2.304 TFLOPS of computing power against 2.176 TFLOPS above. In short, nothing is really appealing; but AMD uses this opportunity to indicate that the solution would be more efficient than a GeForce GTX 680M, which does not eat bread. It will be interesting to see what they will face the GTX 780M soon to be announced ... if it is not there also a simple name change. Anyway, MSI launch partner and used it to indicate that it will market its GX70 3BE using this graphics chip and an APU A10-5750m of Richland generation. Performance will announce revised upwards compared to the previous generation (9.8% in 3DMark Fire Strike 1080p). Remains to be seen what will happen in practice.

Firefox 21 available now!

The new version of the Firefox browser which is more social on the workstation, and improves compatibility with HTML5 on Android is available now. Up-to-date for your Firefox on PC (GNU / Linux, Mac OS and Windows) and Android is available right now. The news was announced yesterday by Johnathan Nightingale, vice president of software engineering on Firefox. The feature most highlighted is a system called "Firefox Health Report". It must "save the basic information about the health of your browser (launch time, total operating time, the number of crashes, etc.), and give you the tools to understand this information and repair any problem." In a blog post by Mitchell Baker, head of the Mozilla Foundation, we learn what measures have been put in place to enable these new features while maintaining the confidentiality of personal data of users, the traditional point of work and communication Mozilla. The 21.0 version of Firefox, however, may provide anonymous data on Mozilla browser usage information regularly.

The feature can be easily disabled, but Mitchell Baker hopes it will remain enabled by default on most workstations. No personal information is collected, she assured. The Social API, appeared with Firefox 17.0, is enriched by several connectors. While Facebook was launched as the most significant "use case", the Social API is now compatible with Cliqz (recommended reading), Mixi (Japanese social network) and msnNOW, according to a blog dedicated separate the social use of the browser. And for Android special new fonts and HTML5 is available. For Firefox users on the workstation, the up-to-date is automatic or can be done manually via the Help menu (Help> About Firefox) if necessary. Depending on the preferences of each user, it will automatically or manually on Android, or can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

SimCity Updated!

Maxis and Electronic Arts announced recently that the next update of SimCity will be deployed soon. 3.0 stamped this new version bring once again focus on traffic problems, the players complain since the launch of the title. The updates of SimCity are very similar to that of the previous version. After version 2.0 deployed in late April, with a lot of bugs, it has taken a few extra days to see the land version 3.0. At this rate, SimCity will soon catch up with Chrome on the numbering of its updates. The program for this new version has many features many bug fixes, including addressing trafficking, and management indicators RCI. On the first point, the main addition is from a modification of the routing system. U-turns and the attitude of the vehicles have been reviewed and are expected to improve traffic flow. Similarly, the working hours of different businesses and industries of the cities will be slightly offset to avoid peak traffic. Finally, the vehicles will turn right when the traffic lights are red, again to facilitate traffic. About RCI indicator changes are minor but annoying bugs fix. For example, some abandoned buildings could not be reoccupied ... because moving trucks do not have access. Finally, some more surprising bugs are also deleted. For example, the university will now be able to cross the road when walking, which was clearly not the case so far, and the buildings will no longer overlap. The rating upgrade is available here in English. Still expect the deployment of this update before declaring victory, the latest of which brought its share of surprises.

A Guide to Renting a Kiosk in a Shopping Centre

Touch screen kiosks have been around for a few years now, but recently their popularity has exploded, with more and more businesses deciding to invest in the technology to help increase their customer satisfaction, and in turn increase their sales.
One of the more popular places to put a kiosk is inside a shopping mall. This is an especially good decision for a small business, particularly if they have only recently opened. Renting a kiosk is so much cheaper than renting an entire store, for more than just the obvious reasons.
For a start, a kiosk takes up much less room and uses much less energy, meaning your monthly outgoings on overheads will come right down. Another reason is that a kiosk is self-manned – you don’t need to hire any staff or spend your own precious time behind the till; the kiosk does it all for you.
There are even more advantages to using a kiosk, touch screen or not, so what are you waiting for? Here’s an easy guide to renting one yourself.
Do Your Research
Find your local shopping mall and start researching the shopping trends. If you are going to rent kiosk space there, you’ll want to make sure there is a steady flow of human traffic the majority of the time; how are you going to turn a profit without potential customers walking by?
If your local has a lower amount of foot traffic, you don’t want your kiosk going there – it’s that simple.
Look at Locations
If you’ve found a suitable shopping centre, the next thing you have to do is start looking at locations for your kiosk. For a kiosk to be successful, you need to carefully consider where you’re going to place it.
You want somewhere with fairly constant traffic flow, preferably near some popular shops. Kiosks placed in the back end of the mall next to the two empty pods, the closed GameStation and the 99p Store aren’t likely to attract the big bucks.
Plan Your Business
It’s probably wise to assume you already know which services or products your kiosk will be selling, so make sure you feel it’ll fit in well at the mall. Speak to the shopping centre’s manager to let them know your plans – give them financial details to prove that it’s viable and that you can afford the rent.
Ask the management lots of questions; prepare these in advance. Ask about rent, fees, insurance, location and if anything is provided for you, as well as any other enquiries you might have. It would be wise to find out how much the deposit will set you back.
Lease and Permits
Once you’ve got hold of the lease from the management, it is time to double check that you have all of the required business permits. You will probably need a sales tax permit, which states that you will charge sales tax on any items bought from your kiosk. You may also need your National Insurance number. Ask the management if you’re unsure what you’re required to get.

Future Supersonic Aircraft Tested by NASA!

After the crash of July 2000, the Concorde was finally placed permanently on the ground in November 2003. Ten years later, a new supersonic aircraft will perhaps make its appearance in the sky and has just been tested on the premises of NASA. As Concorde is no longer in 2003 (it is still open to the public at the Museum of Air and Space at Le Bourget), a new successor looks set to take over from the supersonic adventure. This is the U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing launched the site of the new aircraft sleek aerodynamic design. Everything is done for speed exceeds the sound barrier. It is that the device, which has no name yet, was tested in the premises of the Glenn Research Center of NASA in Cleveland, Ohio. This experimental research center has a blower ("wind tunnel") long and a few meters wide which have been tested in a replica of the prototype.

A dedicated page on the NASA website explains that "researchers are testing the overall design and performance options to reduce vehicle emissions and noise, and to determine whether the volume of sonic booms can be reduced to a level that would lead to a reversal of the current decision does not allow commercial supersonic flight on earth.” For now this prototype still looks to be in phase of intensive testing, but it is hoped that the engine Boeing will be approved quickly and move people in the near future. Traveling the world at supersonic speed ... We'd love to! Especially since everyone has not had the chance to board the Concorde! Meanwhile, the images of this aircraft make us think of the many Pokémon. How does it feel to know that the Concorde will surely have a successor?

Share Google Drive files with your websites

Google looks little bit flexible in the case of the Drive service that relatively made few changes since its launch. Thus, the client has recently given a slight update so that developers can now add a button dedicated to service within their sites. Google has recently introduced a Chrome extension allowing everyone to save a file in its storage space Google Drive. It did not seem enough because the company decided to offer a new feature for developers to add a in their websites to access directly to their applications in their Google drive. To do this you have to add a simple Javascript API Google+ and then add the specific item according to the need. Once this is done, the button will even help you to manage your identification pass. Some partner sites already offer, but for those who want to do the same or go further, specific documentation has been put online. You can now have access to the action "Share ... "Which will open a window for managing access to third parameters. Still, we would still like many other improvements that appear as notifications. Expecting more from Google; similar to that proposed by several of their competitors, thereby offering a better experience than them.

A 3D screen Smartphone by Amazon!

According to The Wall Street Journal, Amazon would work on at least two models of smartphones which is equipped with a glasses-free 3D display. The article also refers to a unit dedicated to audio streaming playback. The rumor about Amazon's dream on the Smartphone market is not new. In the privacy of its research and development, Lab126, the e-commerce giant would work on several projects on Smartphones which no one knew until now. But now the Wall Street Journal says Amazon is developing a model equipped with a glasses-free 3D display. According to the description given in the article, the 3D images give the impression of floating above the screen such as holograms and are visible from all angles. Users would be able to control certain functions with eye movement, like that proposed by the Samsung Galaxy S4. If the idea of a Smartphone with 3D screen may surprise from a giant like Amazon, the Wall Street Journal explains that it would sort out as a leader to stand out from the competition. A second model of Smartphone, more conventional, would ensure volumes. There is also talk of a device for streaming audio streaming via a WiFi connection to speakers or TV.

Nikon D3100: A good choice for any photographer

For those wishing to try out DSLR cameras for the first time or are attracted to its eye-catchy and appealing design, the Nikon D3100 is clearly a better choice. DSLR cameras are Digital Sing-Lens Reflex Cameras that made a great debut in the market several years ago, and have never ceased to amaze even newcomers. They combine the Single-Lens Reflex (SLR) camera with a digital camera back producing a very strong, enticing and user-friendly camera. It is this marriage of the SLR camera with its digital counterpart that not only provides the main difference between these cameras and digital cameras, but also gives it the unique performance that most photographers are attracted to every season.
Apart from making a reputable name as an entry-level or beginner DSLR camera, the Nikon D3100 is truly an asset that any serious photographer should have it his or her collection. It's performance compared to its immediate predecessor is very commendable. With a 14.2 Megapixel CMOS sensor and a 1080P HD video at 24fps (H.264), this camera is definitely capable of capturing very brilliant photos as well as spectacular videos for normal use. At a price that is just right for the pocket, this is a true must-have even for a professional photographer who from time to time needs to brush up on their photography or video-shooting skills.
The veterans in the field of photography will agree with me that the Nikon group of digital cameras have earned a great name as arguably the best performing cameras in low light conditions. Apart from its full HD video capture capabilities, the Nikon D3100 camera also offers basic image editing right in the camera without having to mess around with external video or photo-editing software. One major advantage of the DSLR cameras over point-and-shoot cameras is the versatility or the wide choice of lenses that can be used or customised to capture photos and videos in a specific way. The Nikon D3100 is no exception in providing this advantage to its users while also maintaining its attractive ergonomic features.
The Nikon D3100 also comes with a lens kit increasing the variety of options to choose from while attempting to capture the best shot in your photography or video-shooting sprees. It is important to note however, that while it is compatible with other Nikon lenses, it will only auto focus with AFS compatible lenses. Auto Focus Silent Wave (AFS) is a type of focusing motor used in a number of AF Nikon lenses, and the AFS motor is known to be very fast and quiet. These lenses are not only a state-of-the-art invention, but also famed worldwide for delivering more quality than they promise. The Nikon D3100's fast 11-point auto focus system coupled with split-second shutter response truly eliminate the frustration of shutter delay as well as capturing those moments that other cameras usually miss.
Its compact and lightweight design enables it to enjoy more popularity especially amongst armatures in the field, and new-entrants who are looking not only for quality and design but also for increased portability in their gadgets. However, due to its small and compact body, the Nikon D3100's viewfinder is relatively quite small, and might need to be improved in the future models. It is true that its high quality photos, image sharpness, amazing video-recording capability and its easily-navigable guide mode makes it stand out amongst the rest. It is crystal clear that if you are a hobbyist, a lens-professional photographer, or a photographer searching for the best DSLR camera with a tight budget, then the Nikon D3100 is obviously the best choice for you.
A natural born writer, Stacey Barton writes professionally and for fun across a wide range of niches with particular attention to how classic brands can continue to offer the same product for decades and somehow survive the turbulent and ever changing consumer market.

Photographic Trick That Makes Child Abuse Hotline Ad Soemthing Special!

NAAR, a Spanish organization that helps children and adolescents who are victims of abuse, has established a commercial with two faces. One can be seen by adults (a normal child's head) and the other visible only by children under 10 years or measuring less than 1m34 (they are shown a picture in which we see the face of a battered child). The message for adults is: "Sometimes the abuse of children is seen that the abused child himself." And the children, "If someone hurts you, phone us and we will help you." An advertising genius who certainly deserves!

“Silvermont” -New architecture dedicated to Atom Processors!

Intel has just lifted the veil on Silvermont, which a new architecture is dedicated to the Atom processors that will be used on chips engraved in 22 nm. But we learn very little and no details are given on the graphic part of the beast. As expected, Intel continues to announce new products in the field of low consumption chips that are the Atom. But in this field, efforts remain to be done in terms of performance and consumption. Silvermont was thought in this direction and this generation SoC receive a fine engraving by 22 nm, which remains one of Intel's benefits. They will be at the heart of the Bay Trail chips (Merrifield platform), which are expected for the last quarter of the year and should be an opportunity to see the emergence of new products, including tablets and hybrids running Android or Windows 8.1, but it seems planned to integrate as in desktop PCs.

For the moment, the company did not mention in detail the new architecture or few details that we already knew. The execution of instructions will be so "out-of-order", the CPU can rearrange to maximize its efficiency. Management 64-bit, virtualization, security features (Secure Key) and other instruction sets are part of, as finer management energy via new "C-states" and Burst 2.0 is a specific version of the Turbo Atom. In addition, up to four modules of two cores can be integrated. In the end, we are promised performance multiplied by three or five times less than at present consumption. We cannot wait to check these numbers in practice as it sounds optimistic.

The side of the graphics chip, nothing officially filtered to the time or the level of performance hoped, either in its composition. At last, there was talk of an Intel IGP capable of handling HD video streams in encoding as well as decoding. But we should know more in the coming days. Anyway, the mobile market is not the sole target of Silvermont since the NAS should also take advantage of this new architecture with dedicated SoC, like Atom Avoton to replace the S1200 that are currently available.

App Store Nearing 50 billionth Downloads!

The person who downloads 50 billionth app will receive an Apple voucher for 10,000 dollars. Despite competition from increasingly aggressive, the Apple App Store does not slow down the pace of its sales. Having passed the 25 billion apps downloaded in March 2012, the platform is now preparing to exceed $ 50 billion. In a little over a year, the number of downloads have doubled, driven by the success of the iPhone and iPad on the planet. The user or the mobile user who downloads the 50 billionth app (which will happen in the next few days) will receive a voucher worth 10,000 dollars to spend on the platform. The unlucky 50 arriving after still receive a consolation prize with a voucher for $ 500 each. The question is whether Apple will be more generous in the App Store will surpass the incredible milestone of 100 billion applications downloaded. This should not take much time.

US Defense Approved BlackBerry 10 and Samsung Knox!

The U.S. Department of Defense has approved the use of the new BlackBerry 10 and also Samsung Android devices compatible with Smartphones. BlackBerry and Samsung are in turning confirmed the adoption of them by the U.S. Department of Defense mobile solutions. For the Canadian firm, this blank check for the Z10 Smartphones, Q10 and the PlayBook tablet that work with BlackBerry Enterprise Service cloud platform 10. Samsung for its part announced that all its smartphones and tablets compatible with its security solution Knox Android have passed the tests of the Agency for Defence Information (DISA) systems. A first for Android devices emphasizes the Korean giant. For the moment, only the Galaxy S4 works with Knox. Samsung intends to capitalize on this success to break into other markets in the areas of finance and health. Last week, the Wall Street Journal also referred to the approval of Apple iPhone and iPad but this information has not yet been formalized.

Closure of Google Reader going to benefit Feed Wrangler !

Since the announcement of the closure of Google Reader which will be effective July 1, services that intend to succeed Google is growing. Feed Wrangler was in the ground work for several months, but the announcement precipitated its output and this new service is now available for all users. Feed Wrangler does not intend to replace the Google service by functions and exactly similar presentation. This newcomer wants quick, simple and powerful at the time, but especially profitable in the long term. This is why it offers its service for a nominal fee to use; yes you have to pay $ 18.99 per year. This is obviously much more than Reader, but it is similar like Feedbin and other another similar services in many ways, is open for several months. This principle of paid subscription will not allow the designer to get as many users as if the service was free, of course, but also some guarantee of continuity for subscribers.

Feed Wrangler could not be sold at the first opportunity, at least if the meeting successful enough to actually be profitable. Feed Wrangler Launched before the originally scheduled date, Feed Wrangler is not quite complete, but it is already has the necessary minimum. By subscribing, we obtain access to its feed from a web interface or a proposed free iOS app. Software for OS X is currently in preparation, and a dedicated customer iOS specifically podcasts, a welcome originality. During the next month, a comprehensive API will also enable all developers to integrate the service into their applications. It is assumed that the popular Reeder integrate the service into a future update. In the meantime, it will do with the web interface on a Mac and the least we can say is that the interface is minimalist.

David Smith highlights the simplicity of the service and said he wanted to focus on flows and articles, but it prevents Feed Wrangler is a little sad in its current version. Feed Wrangler is simple and even a little sad, but it is also fast. Consideration of its simplicity, the web site that remains to this day the only way to access the stream from a computer is very fast to load and display items. If the interface is stripped, you can directly read the articles in full flow, without having to open the original site. For truncated flow, an icon displays the original article, without surprise. By default, Feed Wrangler offers users three views fairly standard: all flows, unread items and those you have selected (favorites). These three views are traditional, but the service was the most amazing choice not to propose any folder. Still sort flow prerequisite if you want to manage more than one can handle, but the method is quite different from what we usually see.

Feed Wrangler indeed proposes to create "Smart Streams" intelligent flow literally translate this function. It is actually smart folders as often found in the OS X software, but can also be used to display all the items from some streams, such as Google Reader folders. When you create a smart stream, you can first apply a filter on all articles to read: in this case, we will show only items that contain the word "iPad". Alternatively, create a file stream. In this case, disable the filter search, leaving the "Apply search filter vacuum", then uncheck "Stream should include all feeds?" and finally select, or, flows to integrate the file in the list that appears below. With this function, Feed Wrangler offers much more flexibility than many RSS readers or competing services, but it is also less immediate and more complex to set up a single file. Contrary to Google Reader for example, you cannot display a list of flows and drag / drop a folder. Feed Wrangler offers a good view with all your cash, but it does not involve a rapid stream smart. If we can understand this choice - after all, it does not really record is - it complicates the daily management of its cash.

This is all the more painful that the service can import your feeds from Google's service, but it does not preserve your files in the process. It will recreate them manually after import, which is quite long and unpleasant, but David Smith told us that he would manage the files correctly when importing in a future version. About filters, Feed Wrangler also knows some automatically mark items as read. If an item contains a word defined in the settings, it will be marked as read and will not appear in your records if you are chosen to show only unread items, or view "Unread". This is a radical method to eliminate the overflow of information and a great idea. Since it is to discuss the benefits of service integration with Instapaper or Pocket is a great idea. On each item, the service displays a button that automatically sends the link to a reading services delayed depending on your settings.

Pending the API will allow any developer to integrate the service; you can access its cash with an iPhone or iPad using the app Feed Wrangler. This application focuses mainly proposed by the service functions, including the addition of flow and the creation and modification of Smart Streams. Its interface is also stripped in the browser, even if the author has added a touch of color. It is still quite simple and offering many functions that RSS reader like Reeder. This app is universal and it is also simple on an iPhone than on an iPad. In both cases, we appreciate how "Wrangle" that can manage the list of items very quickly tap the left adds a section to read service deferred a tap to the right and mark as read button mark all as read. A good idea for a touch interface, but may also be found on the website.

It is simple and fast, like the rest, but Feed Wrangler deserves to be enriched with some very useful features and less rustic interface. Fortunately, the output of the API should correct this. In passing, we appreciate however the 1Password button that activates the manager password when connecting to their account and allow you to use a password automatically generated and too complex to remember. To conclude, Feed Wrangler is an interesting service to more than one. Paying it ensures its sustainability. Generally, it lacks a bit too many features to recommend this service and no API is inconvenient for the moment. The website is fast, yes, but it is a little too simple and suffers from weaknesses on certain points: impossible, for example, know the number of elements to read in each folder. Feed Wrangler is however to monitor closely and looking for an alternative to Google Reader is a good option, provided you agree to pay a little of course.

Epic Citadel in Firefox now!

HTML5 demo of Unreal Engine 3 graphics engine for web browsers is now available online. Firefox is the one who benefits first. Mozilla had shown at the end of March, with the desire to demonstrate that sophisticated games in their report had now a highway in front of them on the web. To operate in the best conditions, it is advisable to download Firefox Nightly (the future version 23). From there, no need to install any plug-in, simply go to this address www.unrealengine.com/html5 to start demo Epic Citadel. Once a 50MB file recovered in the background, the demo is functional and the image can go full screen. This should also work with Firefox 20, but more slowly. We find the same medieval world in which you can walk, used in October 2010. Epic Games had caused a sensation by showing the Unreal Engine 3 running on a small iPhone. This same engine used later for Infinity Blade. Epic Games has over time focused on Android and Flash. This optimized for the web demo Epic Citadel is the result of a recompilation of C / C + + code in JavaScript. It uses WebGL for 3D part and web technologies in general. This means that potentially any modern browser can run such games. For the moment it is mainly the current beta of Firefox and who can benefit, with the exception of Firefox on Android where things still progressing versions. Chrome should follow, Internet Explorer does not yet support WebGL in version 10 so far, but it seems that Microsoft prepares for 11 and compatibility with Safari is also planned.

More thinner ultrabooks are possible with Western Digital!

Thin devices like ultra books may soon sometimes be even thinner thanks to a new hard disk and SSHD (solid state hybrid drive) from Western Digital. The new 2.5-inch drives from WD are only 5 mm thick, while standard drives 9.5mm thick. In addition, the WD Blue and WD Black are also up to 36 percent lighter, they make less noise and are more resilient (400G and 1000G respectively). WD, which had already introduced 7mm thin hard drives, the new drives could make 2 mm thinner thanks to a new connector for both power and data connection. The WD Blue 5mm for $ 89 will be available in capacities of 500GB, but for now only for computer manufacturers and industrial suppliers. The WD Black 5mm SSHD versions will be supplied. With different capacities Their prices are not yet known.

IBM Makes a Movie Out of Atoms with Microscope

The Big Blue crew managed to make a film by moving atoms of carbon monoxide, visible through a microscope capable of magnifying 100 million times. When IBM researchers in storage decide to film, the means are rather original ... Big Blue has managed the feat effect of creating a short film based animated atoms. In this short film ("A Boy and his Atom"), where you can see a boy playing with a ball and jump trampoline, are 5000 atoms of carbon monoxide that were used. Specifically, the U.S. giant has used a scanning tunneling microscope, camera effect that allows you to see the world of the infinitely small to the atoms. This device allows you to magnify objects 100 million times.

The atoms were then positioned to form the schematic image of the boy in the image of single pixels. Engineers used a very fine needle to move atoms and film frame by frame (stop-motion). "The ability to control the temperature, pressure and vibration to very specific levels that the IBM research laboratory one of the few places in the world where the atoms can be moved with such precision," said Christopher Lutz of IBM. Why did you make this "movie"? This is done for IBM to demonstrate its ability to manipulate atoms on magnetic media in optical data storage the IBM replied. Until this technology is declined storage, IBM has seen his film to be entered in the Guinness Book of Records as the "world's smallest film."

More details about DualShock controller 4 of Playstation 4

The Piece by piece transformation of the Playstation 4 is a mystery of the tangible object. Now a new trailer demonstrates the functions of the DualShock controller 4 in detail. The new Playstation 4 controller has a lot under the hood. The new Sony Playstation 4 guards itself continues as a state secret, for the group the new DualShock controller now illuminated from all sides. In a video, the manufacturer explains the main features of the revised control unit. Thus, we have short-circuited with developers like Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch and Sony Santa Monica to clarify the functions of the DualShock controller was still missing. As a consequence, we have adjusted all the knobs and buttons in their own ergonomics and sensitivity way. In addition, to provide for a more intense gaming experience integrated into the controller speaker. For example, you can make a shooting game for even more realistic to the sound of bullets flying past. Also the benefits of light rail of the Playstation 4 Controller Sony explain in the video.

So the Playstation 4 can recognize the position of each player in the room at any time. Replace two player now places, could automatically adjust the split screen according to a multi-player game console. This is the next evolution of the Playstation gamepads: the DualShock controller 4. On the front there is a touchpad, as you know from laptops. With the Share button upload video games up to the Internet. Even live broadcasts, which are engaged by your friends should be possible via the Share button and streaming. Examples of the use of the new touchpad are guilty and Sony gamers merely clarifies that the touch-sensitive multi-touch surface, so contact with multiple fingers, supports simultaneously. Heart of the new gamepad is, according to the video of the much-debated and controversial in its necessity Share button. Sony once again emphasizes that it has never been so easy to prepare and share content. Confirmed and possible start title for Playstation 4 and Xbox 720. For the first time since the official investigation event on 20th February in New York Sony announced the framework of the Game Developers Conference (March 25 to 29 2013, San Francisco) on Playstation 4 back. How Mobile Optimization Is Good for Businesses

In a smartphone boom led by Apple and the popularity of its apps, the number of users accessing mobile Internet has increased. A 2012 global smartphone user study shows how smartphone Internet usage is catching up with PC/laptop usage in point differences of as high as 12 percentage points to as low as 0, (where in Japan, Internet is accessed in equal measure via smartphone and PC). According to Morgan Stanley and Gartner, mobile device browsing should exceed wired web traffic by 2013.

Mobile browsing boom

Since this gain in momentum, sites optimized for mobile devices have higher click-through rates. It is, as well, forecasted that about 50% of Internet usage will be through mobile as more and more people tend to use their smartphones for looking things up online.

Mobile usage for obtaining local information

Mobile local usage has likewise increased and sites dedicated to group-buying deals such as Groupon and local online stores and sellers have begun to use it as a new platform. Users are also utilizing this for access to local news and traffic information, as well as data on sales, bazaars, events, launches, etc.

Mobile commerce on the web marketplace

It is no news that as of last year, Multiply has fully shifted from being a social media and blogging site into a full-on marketplace. In a 2012 study, it has been reported that at least half of mobile shoppers' monthly purchases are already made through mobile.

Mobile marketing

Aside from apps and sites like Amazon and eBay dedicated solely for buying and selling, social media sites like Instagram and Facebook are now being increasingly used as an online selling platform.
Instagram, being image-centered, is used as an effective social media catalog of products that then link to a business owner's site, while Facebook is used more for establishing relationships to customers in order to keep track of products and/or services.

Mobile trading

The strength of mobile commerce is being developed wildly as Deutsche Bank plans to roll out a social media and mobile platform. TradoLogic, on the other hand, has made trading accessible through smartphones and tablets.
Placing mobile call-to-actions to a mobile website also helps as more and more users equipped with wireless phone add-ons, such as a spy earpiece connected via Bluetooth to a mobile smartphone, can engage in hands-free trading and brokering while multitasking such as driving to work, working out, or on their desktops at work.

Mobile optimization for business promotion strategies

With all this convincing data, as a business owner, freelancer or marketer, it is a good decision to go where the traffic goes, especially right now, while mobile SEO is not yet as saturated. By securing a good wireless Internet connection through a mobile plan and backing it up with a cellphone booster so signal is consistently clear, viewing, testing and utilizing applications, ads, websites or blogs through smartphones will be a breeze.

Conclusion

A mobile device is one of the most personal and closest connections that can be established with any user. As more and more institutions are moving towards mobile optimization, it is safe to assume that business owners, online traders and other independent workers looking for online work who have this mobile-to-mobile relationship with a customer, client or audience have effectively enhanced their online presence.

The new BlackBerry R10 seems to target the entry level!

The BlackBerry Z10 seems a good start off with 1 million units sold between January and late March, now BlackBerry trying to expand its range to revive volumes. Also it is going to equip with a physical keyboard, which would replace the current Curve. According to information released few days ago by Boy Genius Report, the first Smartphone R Series is especially equipped with 8 GB of internal storage with a microSD memory card slot and a battery of 1800 mAh. Google now focus on the game for Android?

Two few weeks ago, Google recruited Noah Falstein as Head of Designer of the Games. According to our sources he is the Chief Game Designer at Android Play Studio. This implies Google will launch its own developed video games via Android with its own name. Noah Falstein is one of the senior experts in the world of video games since he started his career in the 80s and has participated in numerous titles, including LucasArts or Dreamworks. The choice of Google to recruit such a senior indicates that the Web giant certainly has ambitions in the field. But behind this recruitment, we can also think that Google will launch the video game under his own brand of games that we find in the Google Play Store. This is not new with Google, since Google has already made a prank in the field with Ingress example.

As a reminder, this title allows you to take full advantage of augmented reality. Only with the arrival of Glass, this application may also be important, and it is not excluded that other players can quickly take advantage of the technology, since Google has already released the necessary API to take advantage. Have its own development studio could also show the way to its planning and be an example or know-how. But it is also possible that Google may modify the Play Store as we know it to allow more interaction between players. It might as well set up a system of rewards and trophy, as Amazon does through its GameCircle for its Kindle Fire and Microsoft with the Xbox to name but two examples there. We can now follow the progress of other players on many titles. But Google could turn to do any big thing else. So far we have the right to tablets or Smart phones with Google's mobile operating system, it could also be a question of portable game console, based obviously on the Play Store. Indeed, various manufacturers have already shown some signs of interest like Archos with its GamePad or NVIDIA and Shield project. Google may have to develop its own solution. This would do this again in part for Android support for external controllers to simplify the work of new third-party developers.

Google Apps called Keep!

Google has just announced that it began to expand its "Packaged apps" that unveils a new service for its note-taking called “Keep”. It evolves finally ensuring an offline operation in a compact and dedicated window. A few weeks ago, Google launched this service Keep. It was so pretty basic, but had the advantage of working on different platforms synchronously. We then talked about the lack of consistency of the company which offered a less comprehensive than others he had already published, especially in the field of off-line operation and sharing notes with third-party product. If the latter does not seem to be corrected, this is the case for the off-line mode. Indeed, Keep now entitled to its Chrome application is a "Packaged app" of not less than 7 MB. This is not yet referenced in the Web Store, unless you use the Chrome developer branch as we explained in the previous news. You can still find and download from the net. The notes are now displayed in a special window, which becomes the default operating Keep once the application is installed. A significant focus even if we would probably like to create a window rating for segment management for example.

Ford Fiesta eWheelDrive- Car Engine on Wheels!

An avid technology of all kinds, auto maker Ford has invited technological reviewers to discover its latest prototype of its circuit testing in Belgium with the specialty of a care whose engine is located in the rear wheels. Ford invited to attend the session of tests of the prototype of a new innovative concept super car Ford Fiesta eWheelDrive, even if others have tried it without success so far. In this enigmatic name itself lies in fact a whole new way of thinking about the car engine. The main novelty of this car is that the engine is not in the front bonnet but in the two rear wheels, for a car fully powered by electricity. Technology in partnership with Schaeffler, a German company specialized in engineering precisely mechanical bearings used in automotive and aerospace environments.

This is a modified Ford Fiesta equipped eWheelDrive system. Viewed from the outside, it is a car like the others, although we note that the frame of the rear wheels seems "full" with respect to front wheels. Under the hood, the battery powers the two motors on each of the rear wheels (and each weighing about 44 kg). Once inside, everything seems to be similar to a car whose engine is under the hood, with some minor differences. The Fiesta cannot exceed 130 km / h maximum speed possible with both engines. Is still a prototype, there are still many challenges and corrections to the operation of the Fiesta eWheelDrive, as explained by one of the technicians.

So the main issues are in the reduction of noise and vibration and especially to optimize the wheel suspension to better withstand the heavy weight of the engine and improve the ride comfort and handling. But with this new, Ford teams in Europe, led by Pim van der Jagt, consider holding a "revolution" car and have a way to totally reinvent the concept of the car. One of their initial ideas was "What can be our role to decongest the traffic in cities?” For Peter Gutzmer, technical director at Schaeffler, "this technology could give birth to the future concepts and revolutionary platform." And indeed, if the cover is stripped of engine, designers can design and all new models of cars and even completely reinvent the city driving.

One of the most useful functions of motors in the wheels will just be able to park easily by "dragging" the car on the parking place, without having to make a dozen maneuvers to pass to park properly as it happens to many people. For now Ford does not expect mass production for marketing and is in the testing phase and improve this promising prototype! The Ford Fiesta eWheelDrive is a really interesting concept that allows you to make a fresh look at the cars and design. Completely redesign the layout of the instrument panel, trunk, seats, etc. We already see in ten years ride in cars and almost square where the windshield would be the same as the nose of the car ... It makes us dream! How would you imagine the car of tomorrow?

iTunes Store and its growth in last ten years!

On 28 April 2003, Apple launched the iTunes Music Store. Ten years later, nearly half a billion people have an iTunes account and have purchased music, TV shows, movies, books and apps on the Apple store. That does not impress its competitors, more every day. Ten years ago, Apple sells more 30,000 iPods per month but makes no profit. Napster, Kazaa and incompetence of the majors have destroyed the music market and it becomes less difficult to keep a foot in the online music. But not necessarily in practice, which is an obstacle to the success of the iPod, which is nothing without music. Universal, Warner, Sony, EMI and BMG are persuaded by Steve Jobs and Eddy Cue, by which they ensures that it is possible to beat piracy, is "simply" more practical, more complete, more safer and better than him. They accepted and provide 200,000 pieces encoded in AAC 128, but only for one year and on the express condition that they are protected by DRM and readable only by the 13 million users of Mac OS X. On 28 April 2003, the iTunes Music Store opened its doors - a million pieces sold in one week, three million in six months. Majors grant exclusive to Apple and are eager to accept the launch of the iTunes Music Store on Windows.

At the same time, the iPod loses its FireWire port that provided the Mac and Apple's successful gamble: owner, shop owner, software port, it is now fully integrated ecosystem head. Apple last decade and can be read through the evolution of his shop. The iPod sales quadruple in the world. The iTunes Music Store was launched internationally in early 2004. The 5G iPod can play videos. Clips and TV series are added in late 2005. The Apple TV will soon be presented? The iTunes Music Store and iTunes Store is home movies. IPhone gains the ability to run third-party apps. The App Store is part of the iTunes Store. The large iPad screen is perfect for reading. Never mind, you can also buy books via iTunes since January 2010! Apple is the largest technology company in the world and the sales figures of his shop give dizzy. The iTunes Store is sold 25 billion songs in ten years, over a billion iTunes U downloaded in five years, a whopping nine billion dollars donated to apps developers and hundreds of millions of pounds digital sales. Apple is still the largest music retailer in the world - all media - with four times more market share than its main competitor, Amazon, which we cannot yet say that it is a dwarf. For it is today that the iTunes Store is at the top it is also the most turbulent. "People buy their music for as long as you can buy music," said Steve Jobs in 2003: ten years later, 62% of Americans believe that it is not essential to have his music.

The Apple co-founder drew red ball on Spotify even before its launch today; streaming services represent 15% of sales in the market for music. The numerous commercial operations around the streaming show Apple still has not lost the ear of the majors. The second decade of the iTunes Store may well begin with the launch of iRadio, a streaming service that will radically change the business model of the Apple store. Another track is that Apple become content producers, as for example with Netflix become House of Cards. It could start with the iTunes Festival, which will not be broadcast on TV this year - but could continue to be via the Apple TV. Imagine that it continues on this path with TV shows or movies: Apple TV is the only access to some exclusive content because it is the Apple products. The loop is looped and the iTunes Store is more than ever the Apple backbone.

The Linux kernel version 3.9 available!

Open Source Announced Version 3.9 of the Linux kernel and was released last night on the website Kernel.org announced by its founder, Linus Torvalds, in the developer mailing list. This publication comes ten weeks after the previous version, and have continuity in support for new hardware. "Whatever the reason, this week has been very quiet, which makes me more comfortable to publish the final version 3.9, so I think the last-rc8 has stopped working," announced on Mailing List founder of the Linux kernel. No big change announced for this version, but a deepening of transitions already Commencement with version 3.8. Here is a non-exhaustive selection. As usual, for a comprehensive overview of the latest news and management visit: Linux.org. Improved support for ARM architectures is supported. Begun in version 3.7, it now allows the teams to the Linux Foundation announce support for 18 SoC (system on a chip) ARM. The goal, says Linux.org, is to arrive at a single core for all platforms, including x86. Better implementation of the standard IPv6 network. Improvements were made especially in terms of security when encapsulating IPv6 inside IPv4. It supports distribution systems RAID 5 and RAID 6 system BTRFS files. And extension compatibility for graphics drivers, including future Haswell and Valley View and Oland AMD chips were added. Improved supported virtualization, with extension to ARM Cortex A15 chips in KVM and Xen supported by the summer. We wish to pass an interesting point in the statistics of this version 3.9. If they are, as usual, the opportunity to highlight the most active developers, they also show a significant change on the part of companies that support the Linux kernel participating. Thus, for the first time, Linux.org is for Intel one of the top ranking contributing companies.

New Microsoft browser Internet Explorer 11

Windows 8.1 is not only a major update of the latest operating system from Microsoft, but also a new version of Internet Explorer in this year. The first emerged preliminary versions of Internet Explorer 11 have offered no visual novelties. The Internet Explorer 10 along with Windows 8 Microsoft has introduced in 2012 the great turnaround. Modern, faster, safer - better - to be the new American software forge. With the IE10 this succeeds the company largely: Optimized for touch user interface, tracking protection, built-in spelling correction brings IE back on par with the competition. But Microsoft did not want to squander his arduous comeback on Firefox and Chrome. While the strongest competitor, Mozilla and Google bring to the market every six weeks, a new version of its browser, Microsoft has taken the leap from IE9 to IE10 whole two years. That the successor cannot wait quite so long in coming, appearing regularly put rumors close: because together with the successor of Windows 8, Microsoft seems too busy to tinker with a new browser. According to insider reports are to be expected with the release of the new software later this year. This must be re-Published in a net pre-release version of Windows 8.1 (codename Blue) already provided a first look. But so far, Microsoft does still extremely cloudy.

On the surface, no changes are visible. Only under the hood did more. There is also evidence that Microsoft integrates Web Graphics Library "WebGL" in the upcoming version of browser. The browser can work with the help of the graphics card, advanced 3D graphics without the need of additional software. By porting the Unreal 3 Enginge for Firefox Mozilla has recently demonstrated the potential that lies dormant in this area. Previously, Microsoft had refused for security reasons, to integrate the interface. Potential security vulnerability would allow far-reaching access to the PC. Therefore, Safari and Opera WebGL have either built, but disabled by default. Only in Firefox and Chrome you can find the graphics interface previously active. According to a reports the Internet Explorer 11 wipe gestures to control the browser on the PC. Although already has the Metro version of IE10 via a user interface for touch control, the successor but also the desktop version should be served by hand. With this move, Microsoft has not only "new" operating concepts in mind, but it worked sensibly to overcome the (operator) barrier between the Metro and desktop interface of Windows 8. In the unofficial pre-release Microsoft has also changed the user agent of the browser: for example, the Internet Explorer web pages are as compared to Firefox browser. In addition, Microsoft is working on an integration of the obvious SPDY protocol. The network protocol developed by Google modified parts of the HTTP protocol and trims it for speed.

The goal is to speed up browsing. In addition to Chrome Firefox and Opera already support the protocol. Whether it's Microsoft with Internet Explorer 11 manages to further stifle the technical edge of competition, cannot be estimated at this stage. The previously available version of IE11 is more reminiscent still version 10.1 as a proper successor. Only if the manufacturer provides an official pre-release version of the new IE is mandatory statements about the potential of the new Microsoft browser can meet.

Sony Cybershot HX 50 with Wi-Fi and High Zoom!

The Sony Cybershot HX50 wants to bridge cameras redundant. The compact camera has a lens with large focal length range and 30x zoom. Wi-Fi helps in transferring the images.
